The SI unit of electric potential difference is volt (named after Italian scientist Alessandro Volta). The electric potential difference across two points is said to be 1V if 1J of work is done in moving 1C of charge from one point to another. 1V = 1J/1C. .

During the 19th century, nationalism emerged as a force which brought about sweeping changes in the political and mental world of Europe. The end result of these changes was the emergence of the ‘Nation-State’ in place of the multinational dynastic empires of Europe. The concept and practices of a modem state in which a centralised power exercised sovereign control over a clearly defined territory, had been developing over a long period of time in Europe. But a nation-state was one in which the majority of its citizens and not only its rulers, came to develop a sense of common identity and shared history. This commonness did not exist from time immemorial; it was developed through struggles, through the actions of leaders and the common people.

If a force acting on a particle is always directed towards or away from a fixed point and its magnitude depends only upon the distance (r) from the point , then the force is "Central Force".

Mahima Pattanayak 4 years, 9 months ago (9960145)

Central force is the force that is radially pointing and the magnitude is dependent on the distance from the source. Examples of central forces are gravitational force, electrostatic forces, and spring force.

The following are the main differences between Fundamental Rights and Directive Principles:

  1. Fundamental Rights are Justiciable, while Directive Principles are not Justiciable.
  2. Fundamental Rights are mandatory, while Directive Principles are optional. It is mandatory for the government to enforce Fundamental Rights but Directive Principles are just optional.
  3. Fundamental Rights are negative to prohibit the government from doing certain things. But Directive Principles are affirmative instructions to the government to do certain things.
  4. Fundamental Rights are concerned with the individual, whereas Directive Principles concern the entire society in which the individual is but a component.
  5. The aim of Fundamental Rights is Political democracy, but that of Directive Principles is Economic democracy.
