IT is a process in which we water plant at regular interval is called irrigation. They can depend upon various factors like crop to crop time to time wheather to wheather like kharif crop need more water as compare to rabi crop . And if we water the plant to much doesn't matter if it is kharif or rabi if we water any plant then there will be water logging and due to water logging oxygen which is present in soil we leave out and because of this plant will die. If there is a rainy 🌧 season then there is no need of water the plant if it is a heavy rain, light rain then you might need to water the crop but with less water.

When we water the plants with sources except rain is known as irrigation. We have to do only some irrigation no too much as it would prevent water logging due to which crop would be damaged.
