Banks play an important role in developing the economy of India. Following points show the importance of banks in the Indian economy:
- Banks help people to save their money in safe custody. To save their money, people deposit their money with banks.
- They only keep about 15% of the deposits as cash. The rest is used to give loans to various people.
- Loans are required for various economic activities as well as investments, Banks mediate between people having surplus cash and those in need of it.
- They give interest to the depositors and they charge interest on those taking loans from the banks. The difference between the interest rates is the main income of the bank.
- Credit provided by banks is crucial for the country’s growth and economy.
- Banks encourage depositing money by giving an interest This contributes to savings in the economy.
- By providing credit at reasonable interest rates, they encourage investment and prevent exploitation from the informal sector.
- Banks employ a large number of people and as such, they solve employment to some extent.

We find that the system was patrilineal and it was the eldest son that inherited the throne but in case of Kauravas their father being blind, the throne goes to his brother Pandu. But untimely death of Pandu and his sons still being minor the blind brother beomes the king

Let AB and CD be two parallel chords of a circle with centre O such that AB = 6 cm and CD = 12 cm. Let the radius of the circle be r cm. Draw OP {tex}\perp{/tex} AB and OQ {tex}\perp{/tex} CD. Since AB || CD and OP {tex}\perp{/tex} AB, OQ {tex}\perp{/tex} CD. Therefore, points O, Q, and P are collinear.

Clearly, PQ = 3 cm
Let OQ = x cm. Then, OP = (x + 3) cm
Applying Pythagoras theorem in right triangles OAP and OCQ, we obtain
OA2 = OP2 + AP2 and OC2 = OQ2 + CQ2
{tex}\Rightarrow{/tex} r2 = (x + 3)2 + 32 and r2 = x2 + 62 [{tex}\because{/tex} AP = {tex}\frac{1}{2}{/tex} AB = 3 cm and CQ = {tex}\frac{1}{2}{/tex}CD = 6 cm]
{tex}\Rightarrow{/tex} (x + 3)2 + 32 = x2 + 62 [On equating the values of r2]
{tex}\Rightarrow{/tex}x2 + 6x + 9 + 9 = x2 + 36 {tex}\Rightarrow{/tex} 6x = 18 {tex}\Rightarrow{/tex} x = 3
Putting the value of x in r2 = x2 + 62, we get
r2 = 32 + 62 = 45 {tex}\Rightarrow{/tex} r = {tex}\sqrt{45}{/tex} cm = 6.7 cm
Hence, the radius of the circle is 6.7 cm.

distance travelled in 1st second=20m
time taken to travel this distance=1s
So speed in first second is dist/time = 20m/s
Similarly speed in 2nd second is 40m/s
Now acceleration = dv/dt
Here dv means change in v, where v is velocity and dt means change in t where t is time interval.
Change in velocity = final vel. — initial vel.
That is, 40-20 = 20m/s
And change in time = 2 — 1 = 1s
So acceleration is 20m/s / 1s = 20m/s^2 Ans.
Metre per second square is the standard unit of acceleration.

Living cells have certain specific components within it known as cell organelles. Each kind of cell organelle performs a specific function, such as making new materials in the cells, release of waste, transportation, etc. Thus, a cell can perform all its functions with the help of these organelles. That is why the cells are called structural and functional unit of life.
