CBSE conducts entrance exams after completing class 12. Here we’ll discuss about top 3 entrance test conducted by CBSE for higher studies post class 12.

Students always eager to know about the exams like JEE, NEET-UG, CTET and others, which are a career deciding exams. For these Entrance exams, you have to get prepared as it is competition based and many students give tough challenge to each other for selection.

JEE MAIN (source jeemain.nic.in )

Those aspirants who continue with mathematics discipline (PCM) in class 11 and 12 opt for JEE MAIN for admission in different colleges across India. JEE Main is for those candidates who wish to get into BE or B. Tech courses in the National Institutes of Technology, Indian Institutes of Information Technology, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes and engineering colleges of the participating states.

The paper 1 of JEE Main has MCQs in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

EE Main has a fixed exam structure. The paper-1 is of three hours duration and consists of thirty multiple choice (single-correct) questions in each of the three subjects (physics, chemistry and maths). There is negative marking for incorrect answers. 4 marks are awarded for correct answers and 1 mark is deducted for incorrect answers

The exams generally held in month of April every year and JEE MAINS in the month of May. As per record around 13-15 lakhs student apply for the exam

 

NEET-UG (Source aipmt.nic.in)

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET-UG is an entrance examination in India, for students who wish to study any graduate medical course MBBS and BDS or PG course like MD / MS in government or private medical colleges in India. NEET-UG (Undergraduate), for MBBS and BDS courses, will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It is to be noticed that NEET-UG replaced the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) and all individual MBBS exams conducted by states or colleges themselves.

CTET

CTET is an eligibility Exam which is also known as central Teacher Eligibility Test. It is conducted under the Central Board of Secondary Education. The ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt of India has given the responsibility of conducting CTET to the CBSE, Delhi. CTET exam is conducted two times in a year. The test is mandatory for getting teaching

jobs in government schools from Class 1 to Class 8. The exam is divided into Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for Class 1 to Class 5 and Paper 2 for Class 6 to Class 8 All graduates, including B.A, B.Sc, B.Com etc. are eligible to take the test. All B. Ed. graduates need to pass this exam to work as a teacher. A candidate has to score over 60 per cent to clear the eligibility test.
