Structurally, plant and animal cells are very similar because they are both eukaryotic cells. They both contain membrane-bound organelles such as the nucleus, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, golgi apparatus, lysosomes, and peroxisomes. Both also contain similar membranes, cytosol, and cytoskeletal elements.
Plant Cells
- In addition to containing most of the organelles found in animal cells, plant cells also have a cell wall, a large central vacuole, and plastids. ...
- Plant cells with visible chloroplasts.
- The internal structure of a chloroplast, with a granal stack of thylakoids circled.

Mesosome is a convoluted membranous structure formed in a prokaryotic cell by the invagination of the plasma membrane. Its functions are as follows:
(1) These extensions help in the synthesis of the cell wall and replication of DNA. They also help in the equal distribution of chromosomes into the daughter cells.
(2) It also increases the surface area of the plasma membrane to carry out various enzymatic activities.
(3) It helps in secretion processes as well as in bacterial respiration.

Postural deformities imply not having proper alignment of body parts. An individual who has postural deformities cannot perform his work efficiently. Some postural deformities are kyphosis, flat foot, knock knee etc.
Kyphosis In kyphosis, there is an increased curvature of the dorsal chest region.
Corrective Measures:
- Regular and appropriate exercises.
- Regular yogic exercises (Chakrasana, Dhanurasana, Bhujangasana, etc).
- Swimming is recommended.
- Hold your hands back in vishram position and walk consciously, then slowly stretch them backward.
- Leaning back on a chair and taking shoulders backwards can help to stretch the chest muscles. Lordosis It is the inward curvature of the spine with protuding abdomen, resulting in a hollow back.

The characteristics of prokaryotic cells are:
- Membrane bound cell organelles such as Mitochondria, Golgi apparatus, Chloroplasts are absent.
- A membrane bound well defined nucleus is absent.
- Genetic material is circular DNA and occurs naked in the cell cytoplasm. It is attached to the cell membrane and called nucleoid.
- The cell size ranges from 0.1 to 5.0 micrometre in size.
- The cell wall is a rigid structure which is made up of polysaccharides.

Answer: If the plasma membrane ruptures or breakdown then the cell will not be able to exchange material from its surrounding by diffusion or osmosis. Thereafter the protoplasmic material will be disappeared and the cell will die.

If there was no Golgi apparatus, various substances would not be in a position to be transformed in proper forms for further use. Certain substances, like protein and lipid, are important for the formation of plasma membrane. Hence the absence of Golgi apparatus will hamper the formation of new cells during cell division.

Let the positive square root be 'x'
The number is x^2
x^2 +x = 90
x^2+x-90=0
x^2 +10x-9x-90= 0
x(x+10)-9(x+10) =0
X=9, x=-10
x cannot be -10 because square root is positive number.
there x = 9
The number is 81.

In desert plants, rate of water loss gets reduced due to the presence of cuticle.
The epidermis of the desert plant has a thick layer of cutin that is called cuticle. It is a waxy layer present on the leaves whose primary function is to reduce the water loss from the plant.

Goblet cells derive their name from their goblet, cup-like appearance. They arise from pluripotent stem cells. The primary function of goblet cells is to secrete mucin and create a protective mucus layer. Regardless of fixation, goblet cells have a distinctly polarized morphology. Their nucleus is at the base of the cell, along with organelles such as mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi. The remainder of the cell is filled with membrane-bound secretory granules filled with mucus.

Given:
- Cost price of watch is Rs 135.
- Overhead expenses on watch is Rs 5.
- Selling Price of watch is Rs 154.
Solution: Total cost price of watch = (Original price + Overhead expense )
➟ Total C.P of watch = Rs (135 + 5) = Rs 140
And, The S.P of watch is Rs 154.
On Comparing both S.P and C.P we get
➢ S.P > C.P { Hence, There is Profit }
Profit = Selling Price – Cost Price
Profit = Rs (154 – 140)
Profit = Rs 14
Now, we have to find the profit percent :
Profit % = (Profit/C.P x 100) %
Profit % = ( 14/140 x 100)%
Profit % = ( 1400/140 ) %
Profit % = 10 %
Hence, The the profit percent made by retailer is 10%.

Lenticels are tiny openings on the bark of older trees.They help in gaseous exchange
Plumule:
Plumule is the part of the seed embryo that grows into a shoot after the process of seed germination. It is a small portion of the plant, with a bud-like structure, giving rise to the first true leaves and is grown into a plant giving rise to several leaves, branches, flowers, and seeds.

A vertical section (or cutting) through the soil showing the different layers of soil is called soil profile. Soil profile consists of three different layers of soil.
Horizon
Each layer of soil is called a horizon. The three lavers of soil in the soil profile are:
1) A-horizon (or Top-soil)
2)B-horizon (or Sub-soil)
3)C-horizon (or Sub-stratum)
- A- horizon-
* This is the topmost horizon and also called as topsoil.
* Contains large amount of humus and minerals.
* Topsoil is soft and porous.
* Capacity of water retention of this soil is more.
* Hold the roots of the plants entirely.
* House of many living organisms such as worms, rodents, moles and beetles.
2) B-horizon-
* Second layer of soil profile and also called as middle layer.
* Contains larger amount of minerals than humus.
* More compact and harder than topsoil.
3) C-horizon-
* Third layer of soil profile.
* Small lumps of rocks are found with cracks and cervices.
4) Bedrock-
* The last layer of soil profile.
* Very hard.
* This layer is even difficult to dig with a spade .

Cells are of different shape, size and structure according to the function they need to perform. So, if all the cells become of same size, shape and structure, it will be very difficult for multicellular organisms including humans to adapt better to the environment and survive. Also, the division of labour among the cells will be lost thus leading to difficulties in survival.
Nerve cells are usually branched and very long as they need more surface area to transmit the signals. Due to their long size they can easily carry messages in each and every portion around the body.
In mammals, after maturation, the nucleus disappears from the RBC to provide adequate space for hemoglobin to carry oxygen. Nucleus is responsible for cell division so the blood cells don't divide, they are produced by other cells within bone marrow. This is an adaptation which allows the red blood cell to carry more oxygen.
