Dignity and freedom of citizens means a democracy form of government. Explanation: Democracy bestows freedom along with dignity to every individual. Democracy strengthens the claims where discriminated groups do not lack in terms of opportunities or facilities. Dignity is the right of a person to be valued and respected for their own sake, and to be treated ethically. ... It is of significance in morality, ethics, law and politics as an extension of the Enlightenment-era concepts of inherent, inalienable rights.

Power sharing is desirable because it helps to reduce the possibility of conflict between the various social groups. Since social conflict often leads to violence and political instability, power sharing is a good way to ensure political stability. Imposing the will of the majority community over the minority may look like an attractive option in the short run, but in the long run, it undermines the unity of the nation. The tyranny of the majority is not just oppressive for the minority; it often brings ruin to the majority as well.

Apartheid is a system of racial discrimination unique to South Africa imposed by the white Europeans. During the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, the trading companies from Europe occupied it with arms and force and became the local rulers. The system of apartheid divided the people and labelled them on the basis of their skin colour. The white rulers treated all nonwhites as inferiors. The non-whites did not have voting rights and were forbidden from living in white areas. The blacks, coloured and Indians fought against the apartheid system, from 1950. The African National Congress (ANC) was the umbrella organisation that led the struggle against the policies of segregation. Nelson Mandela was one of the leaders amongst the eight who were tried for treason by the white South African government. They were sentenced to life, imprisonment in 1964 for daring to oppose the apartheid regime in the country.

Democracy does not rule simply by majority opinion. ‘Majority’ does not mean a community in terms of religion, race or linguistic group. Rule by majority means that in case of every decision, or in case of every election, different people and groups can form a majority.

Luminous intensity, the quantity of visible light that is emitted in unit time per unit solid angle. The unit for the quantity of light flowing from a source in any one second (the luminous power, or luminous flux) is called the lumen. The intensity is defined as power per unit area, and power is defined as energy per unit time. Thus: I=PA=EΔt1A. Because when intensity of incident light increases, it means that number of photons increases in incident light. If number of incident photons increases, then number of emitted photo electrons also increases, consequently the photo electric current increases.

The most basic outcome of democracy is that it produces a government that is accountable to the citizens, and responsive to the needs and expectations of the citizens.
Democratic government can apparently be less efficient than a non-democratic government. This happens because a non-democratic government does not need to arrive at consensus among a diverse set of people. Democracy functions on the basis of deliberation and negotiation and hence decisions are often delayed. But this does not mean that a democratic government is less efficient.

(ii) A government that is responsive to the needs of the people.
(iii) Economic growth and development reducing all forms of inequality and end of poverty.

Angular displacement is defined as “the angle in radians (degrees, revolutions) through which a point or line has been rotated in a specified sense about a specified axis”. It is the angle of the movement of a body in a circular path. Angular displacement is measured in units of radians. Two pi radians equals 360 degrees. The angular displacement is not a length (not measured in meters or feet), so an angular displacement is different than a linear displacement.
