Hydration is essential for human life. While some people may be able to survive for weeks without food, they can only survive a few days at most without water. Drinking water and eating foods that contain a lot of water may help prevent dehydration.

Difference between repeater and router:
Router has the ability to work like a repeater.
It is used to connect to the world of internet
Router connects two different network
This is the decision maker where it decide who and when should receive the packet
A repeater is a module which re-transmit signal from the router
Repeater cannot connect to internet directly. It depends on the router to connect.
Router combines / connects two different segments of same network
It will help router by repeat what the router instructs.

Given,
Power of lens, P = - 2 D
Therefore,
Focal length,
f = 1 / P
= 1 / 2 m = - 0.5
The negative sign of focal length indicates that the lens is concave.
Given f = - 20 cm, (sign convention) , v = - 10 cm
(∴ image formed by concave lens is virtual)
By using lens formula,
or u = - 20
Thus the object is placed at 20 cm from the concave lens

CO2 is a non-combustible gas and it is also non-supporter of combustion. It extinguishes fire in two ways:
1. Since it is heavier than oxygen, it covers the fire like a blanket and cuts off the contact between oxygen and fuel.
2. In cylinders, CO2 is kept in the liquid form. When released, it expands enormously and cools down. This brings down the temperature of the fuel, which helps in controlling the fire.

Na and K are very reactive metals and kept in kerosene oil to prevent it from coming in contact with oxygen and moisture as they react to form their hydroxides. This is an exothermic reaction and lot of heat is generated so both the metals are kept in kerosene oil.

Following are the factors that led to the rise of Jainism and Buddhism in India:
- Reaction against Ritualism - Religious ceremonies and rituals had become very expensive and were performed according to the whims and fancies of the priestly class. Hence, a need was felt for a simple and inexpensive faith.
- Corruption in Religion - Corruption had crept into religion and the priests often extracted money out of common citizens through different rituals. This was resented by another powerful community, i.e., the Kshatriyas.
- Rigid Caste System - The caste divisions had become extremely rigid and there was absolutely no social mobility left in the society. There were restrictions on the basis of caste, on food, drinks and marriage.
- Difficult language - The Vedas were written in Sanskrit and the Brahmans gave religious discourse in only that language. It was not understood or spoken by the common people and hence a need was felt for a religion which would be accessible for people at large.
- Political situation - In the sixth century BC, Magadha was ruled by Bimbisara and later by Ajatashatru. Both had definitive opinions about religion and philosophy. Later on, both patronised Jainism and Buddhism.
- Agricultural economy - Killing animals did not bore well for the farmers in the Gangetic valley as the increasing use of iron had made animal drawn ploughing popular. As a result, they were in a position to embrace a religion that supported non violence and was against the custom of animal sacrifice.
