Colloids can't be separated by filtration as the size of particles are too small to be individually seen by naked eyes. But we use a special technique called centrifugation....... centrifugation is The process employs the principle that particles that are dense settle at the bottom whereas the lighter particles stay at the top when spun rapidly.

Lyophilic & Lyophobic Colloids:

Lyophilic colloids can be prepared by just heating the solid with the liquid dispersion medium.

Whereas the lyophobic colloids cannot be prepared just by heating, they need to be prepared by some special methods.

The two methods by which the lyophobic colloids can be prepared are as follows:

  1. Dispersion method

  2. Aggregation method

The cytoplasm provides a medium for the organelles to remain suspended. The cytoplasm acts as a buffer and protects the genetic material of the cell and also the cellular organelles from damage caused due to movement and collision with other cells. Cellular respiration begins in the cytoplasm with glycolysis. The jelly-like fluid of the cytoplasm is composed of salt and water and is present within the membrane of the cells and embeds all of the parts of the cells and organelles. The cytoplasm is home to many activities of the cell as it contains molecules, enzymes that are crucial in the break down of the waste.

Following are the challenges faced by political parties:- *Lack of internal democracy:- 1.) Parties do not keep membership register. 2.) They do not regularly hold organisational meetings. 3.) They do not conduct internal elections regularly. *Dynastic succession:- In many parties, the top positions are always controlled by members of one family. This is unfair to other members of that party. *Money and muscle power:- The parties are indulged in the use of money and muscle power for wining elections. This hampers the democracy from developing and lessons the importance of genuine leaders with in the party.

Tejasvini S 5 years, 3 months ago (9158229)

Lack of internal democracy. All over the world, there is a tendency of political parties towards the concentration of power in one or few leaders at the top. Parties do not keep membership register. They do not conduct internal elections regularly. Ordinary members of the party do not have sufficient information as to what happens inside the party. No Transparency. Since most political parties do not practice open and transparent procedures for their functioning, these are very few ways for an ordinary worker to rise to the top in a party. Those who happen to be the leaders are in a position of unfair advantage to famous people close to them or even their family member. In many parties, the top positions are always controlled by members of one family. Money and Muscle Power Since parties are focussed only on winning elections, they tend to use short cuts to win elections. They tend to nominate those candidates who have or can raise a lot of money. Rich people and companies who give funds to the parties tend to have influence on the policies and decisions of the party.

Poet Neruda wishes to have total inactivity. Unnecessary rush and hurry have troubled and tensed all of us. The noise of machines creates disturbance when everything is at rest, it will be an exotic moment. It will give us unusual feeling and all will enjoy sudden strangeness. All will feel one with all others and leave aside all the selfish ends.

Range is the difference between the lowest and highest values . So , let the height of 10 students be : (St=student) St.1 = 121 cm " 2 = 130 cm " 3= 125 cm " 4 = 129 cm " 5 = 135 cm " 6 = 126 cm " 7 = 120 cm " 8 = 119 cm " 9 = 131 cm " 10 = 123 cm The highest height is 135 cm The lowest height is 119 cm So , ( highest - lowest ) cm ( 135 - 119 ) cm = 16 cm The answer is : The range of heights of 10 students = 16 cm.
