Andrew reaches the conclusion that all these marriages were dismal failures based on the episode he had witnessed at Cardiff station. It obsessed him morbidly as he thought about Bramwell, who was foolishly devoted to a woman who deceived him sordidly. Then he thought of Edward Page who was bound a shrewish Blodwen, of Denny who was living an unhappy life being away from his wife. All these relationships led him to draw such a conclusion and he winced from this realization. He wished to consider marriage as an idyllic state because the only thing the image of Christine permitted him to conceive of. Her shining eyes admitted no other conclusion. He was conflicted between listening to his level head or overflowing heart, leaving him resentful and confused.

Upanishad literally means 'approaching and sitting near', as pupils used to sit near a guru in the ashrams.During the times of Buddha and in earlier times, many thinkers tried to find answers to some difficult questions. Their ideas about the concept of the atman or the individual soul, and the Brahman or the universal soul and ideas about life after the death were recorded in the Upanishads. Upanishads were a part of the later Vedic texts.
The Upanishadic thinkers were men especially Brahmins and rajas. Occasionally, there is a mention of women thinkers such as Gargi, who was famous for her learning and participated in the debates in the royal courts. Poor people rarely took part in these discussions.

In the given polynomial x2−17x+60,
The first term is x2 and its coefficient is 1.
The middle term is −17x and its coefficient is −17.
The last term is a constant term 60.
Multiply the coefficient of the first term by the constant 1×60=60.
We now find the factor of 60 whose sum equals the coefficient of the middle term, which is −17 and then factorize the polynomial x2−17x+60 as shown below:
x2−17x+60=x2−12x−5x+60=x(x−12)−5(x−12)=(x−5)(x−12)
Hence, x2−17x+60=(x−5)(x−12).

Soapy was a homeless and jobless man. He needed a place to stay comfortably for three months during the approaching winter. He could get food and shelter at the houses of his known persons but he did not like to answer their odd questions and lose his freedom. He was a man of ego and considered himself a gentleman. He preferred to go to prison where he would follow the rules but live his own life. He made many attempts to get arrested. His luck failed at the restaurants. He was thrown outside but was not handed over to the police. He broke the glass of a window and stole an umbrella. He was arrested only after he had determined to lead an honourable life.

Using Biot-Savart's law:
Here, the length of wire segment is so small compared to the distance of the point, we can use any of the 3 formulas above to find dB or B.
Using (3) is difficult as finding θ1 and θ2 and their Cosine is tough. So use either (1) or (2) directly.
Using (1):
dB = 10⁻⁷ units * 5A * 0.01 m * Sin 45⁰ / (2 m) ² Tesla
= 1.77 * 10⁻⁷ Tesla

The time period is given as
T = 2πm / Bq
where
mass of the electron, m = 9.1 X 10-31 kg
magnetic field strength, B = 0.2 mT = 0.2 X10-3 T
charge on the electron, q = 1.6 X10-19 C
so,
T = (2 X3.14 X 9.1 X 10-31) / (0.2 X10-3 X 1.6 X10-19)
or
T = (57.148/0.32) X 10-9
thus, the time period will be
T = 1.785 X 10-7 secs.

In this question the we have to find the original salary after there is increment of 10% in the salary.
Let the man salary be before increment= x
There is 10% increase in the salary= x+ (10/100)x
= x + 0.1 x
= 1.1x
Increased salary = 154000
Therefore 1.1 x = 154000 x
= 154000/1.1= 1,40,000
Hence the original salary was 1,40,000

The term flora in Latin means “Goddess of the Flower.” Flora is a collective term for a group of plant life found in a particular region. The whole plant kingdom is represented by this name.
Flora is classified and differentiated based on many factors. The best one among them is the area in which they grow or are found. Some grow in desert regions or in water, some are found in hilly areas while some are endemic to a specific geographic location.
According to the place at which they grow, they have adaptations also. For example, Cactus plants are naturally seen in deserts. They have adaptations like modified leaves or prickles to preserve water and protect themselves from predators.
The agricultural flora consists of plants cultivated by men for their use. Horticulture is the practice of growing ornamental and decorative flowers which are also known as garden flora.

Optical fibres are fabricated such that light reflected at one side of inner surface strikes the other at an angle larger than the critical angle. Even if the fibre is bent, light can easily travel along its length. Thus, an optical fibre can be used to act as an optical pipe. They are made up of plastic.

Dear dairy,
Today was the most important day for me. I have participated in a solo dance competition. I love to dance but I have stage fear. I was very nervous when they called my name. I was called upon the stage I was very nervous I thought I will not go. But then I remembered my moms lesson to me that we have to face our problems and give our best. So I went upon the stage, prayed God to give me power and gave my 100%. I love to dance and as I danced I forgot all the audience sitting there. As my dance was over I felt very happy. After all the dances, the time for prize distribution was about to start. I was again quite nervous as the other dancers were so good. All were eagerly waiting. The judges announced the winners name. And that was me. I was fully surprised as I thought I won't win among all the 30 solo dancers. I was very happy. The chief minister of our state gave me the award. I was feeling so happy. All my friends were happy too they all greeted me congrats. The dancers were shaking hands with me for my effort and handwork as it was a very tough one. My frnds mom and dad were all very happy. I was feeling very blessed to have the reward.
