The major edible part of a brinjal fruit (egg plant) is the placenta. The egg-shaped glossy purple fruit has white flesh with a meaty texture. The cut surface of the flesh rapidly turns brown when the fruit is cut open. Berry, the fruit contains numerous small, soft seeds which, though edible, taste bitter because, as a relative of tobacco, they contain nicotinoid alkaloids.

Let three consecutive positive integers be, n, n + 1 and n + 2.
When a number is divided by 3, the remainder obtained is either 0 or 1 or 2.
∴ n = 3p or 3p + 1 or 3p + 2, where p is some integer.
If n = 3p, then n is divisible by 3.
If n = 3p + 1, ⇒ n + 2 = 3p + 1 + 2 = 3p + 3 = 3(p + 1) is divisible by 3.
If n = 3p + 2, ⇒ n + 1 = 3p + 2 + 1 = 3p + 3 = 3(p + 1) is divisible by 3.
So, we can say that one of the numbers among n, n + 1 and n + 2 is always divisible by 3.
⇒ n (n + 1) (n + 2) is divisible by 3.
Similarly, when a number is divided 2, the remainder obtained is 0 or 1.
∴ n = 2q or 2q + 1, where q is some integer.
If n = 2q ⇒ n and n + 2 = 2q + 2 = 2(q + 1) are divisible by 2.
If n = 2q + 1 ⇒ n + 1 = 2q + 1 + 1 = 2q + 2 = 2 (q + 1) is divisible by 2.
So, we can say that one of the numbers among n, n + 1 and n + 2 is always divisible by 2.
⇒ n (n + 1) (n + 2) is divisible by 2.
Hence n (n + 1) (n + 2) is divisible by 2 and 3.
∴ n (n + 1) (n + 2) is divisible by 6.

Method:
1.Take a thin strip of filter paper.
2.Draw a line on it using a pencil approx. 3 cm above the lower edge.
3.Put a small drop of ink with help of a pen at centre of line and let it dry.
4.Lower the filter paper into a glass jar containing water in such a way that the ink's drop remains just above the water level. Leave it undisturbed.
5.Water rises up in the filter paper. Ink drop splits up into its constituents.
Conclusion:Dye in black ink is a mixture of 2 or 3 colours. The coloured component that is more soluble in water rises faster and in this way the colours get separated.

Traditional hybridisation procedures involve mating of organisms to be modified with another individual of the same species having desired characters and screening the progeny for expression of desired set of characters. These procedures, very often lead to inclusion and multiplication of undesirable genes alongwith desired genes. Besides inter-specific hybridisation are generally not very successful. Genetic engineering can overcome all these drawbacks because use of recombinant DNA technology, gene cloning and gene transfer allow us to isolate and introduce only oneor a set of desirable genes without introducing undesirable genes into the target-organism that too from any distant organism.
So, the correct answer is 'Both Assertion and Reason are correct and Reason is the correct explanation for Assertion'.

The meaning of velocity of an object can be defined as the rate of change of the object’s position with respect to a frame of reference and time. It might sound complicated but velocity is basically speeding in a specific direction. It is a vector quantity, which means we need both magnitude (speed) and direction to define velocity. The SI unit of it is meter per second (ms-1) if there is a change in magnitude or the direction in the velocity of a body the body is said to be accelerating.
