Epistasis is a phenomenon in genetics in which the effect of a gene mutation is dependent on the presence or absence of mutations in one or more other genes, respectively termed modifier genes. In other words, the effect of the mutation is dependent on the genetic background in which it appears.

Non-allelic gene is alleles at different position of chromosome loci but can affect one gene over the other in different way of intereaction. different human character are determined not only based on the allelic gene but also with the effect to non allelic genes. ... this effect is due to non allelic interaction.

An intergenic region is a stretch of DNA sequences located between genes. Intergenic regions are a subset of noncoding DNA. Occasionally some intergenic DNA acts to control genes nearby, but most of it has no currently known function.

MEDICINE

- Psychologist employed in hospitals prevent people from engaging in health hazardous behaviour and help in adhering to the prescribed doctor's advise regarding healthy behaviour.
- Psychologists work in ICU also and deal with patients in post operative stage.
ECONOMICS, POLITICAL SCIENCE AND SOCIOLOGY
- Psychology has contributed a great deal to the study of micro-level economic behaviour, consumer behavior, saving behaviour and decision making.
- Political science uses psychological approach in understanding issues like exercise of power and authority, nature of political conflicts and voting behaviour.
- Sociology and Psychology together try to understand socio-cultural basis of behaviour. Sociology studies the society whereas psychology studies individual in the society.

Following are the consequences or adverse effects of each of these principles:
- Division of work: The violation of this principle leads to the dearth of specialization among the employees.
- Unity of Command: The violation of this principle leads to confusion in the mind of the subordinate in following the orders.
- Remuneration: The violation of this principle leads to a situation of unrest among the employees and makes them demotivated.
- Order: Improper placement of men and material may lead to wastage of resources.
- Stability of tenure: Instability and insecurity among employees and they would tend to leave the organization.

a. Russia was part of the triple entente alliance that included Britain and France to fight the triple alliance comprising of Germany,Austria -Hungary and Italy
b.. The war had a devastating effect on Russia, as its army faced heavy casualties, with over 7 million casualties by 1917.
c. The Russian army as they retreated also destroyed crops and buildings to prevent them from the enemy, but it effected the local Russian population, as it led to displacement of over 3 million people in Russia.
d. The war also impacted Russian industry, the supply of industrial goods to Russia from other countries was also impacted.
e Many small scale workshops were shut down.

Several tribal groups in different parts of the country were unhappy with the changes they were experiencing and the problems they were facing under the British rule. Finally, they rebelled against the changes in laws, the restrictions on their practices, the new taxes they had to pay, and the exploitation by traders and moneylenders.
• The Kols rebelled in 1831 – 32.
• The Santhal rose in revolts in 1855.
• The Bastar Rebellion in central Indian broke out in 1910.
• The Warli Revolts in Maharashtra in 1940.
• Birsa Munda also led one such movement.
