The Universe is thought to consist of three types of substance: normal matter, 'dark matter' and 'dark energy'. Normal matter consists of the atoms that make up stars, planets, human beings and every other visible object in the Universe.

Simon Commission is a team which came in india in 1928 to make the constitution of india. It was opposed because it do not consist even a single member of india.Whereas they are making constitution for India

M A 4 years, 4 months ago (10990178)

The Commission was strongly opposed by many Indians. It was opposed by Nehru, Gandhi, Jinnah, the Muslim League and Indian National Congress because it contained seven members of the British Parliament but no Indians. Indians saw it as a violation to their right of self determination and insult to their self respect.

M A 4 years, 4 months ago (10990178)

In 1930, the Commission published its two-volume report, also known as the Simon Report. The Simon Commission was dispatched to India in 1928 to review the the Government of India Act 1919. The Commission, appointed by Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin, did not include any Indian delegates.

alignments set the distance of the text from the left and right margins and sometimes also from the top and bottom margins....

What are the types of alignments?
If we talk about left and right margins, alignments can be of four types as follows:

  1. Left alignment: Left alignment joins the text with the left margin. This alignment is mostly used for writing letters, and content of a main heading etc.....
  2. Center alignment: Center alignment positions the text at the center of the page, with equal distance from the left and right margins. This alignment is used mostly for topic headings etc....
  3. Right alignment:  Right alignment joins the text with the right margin. This alignment is mostly used for highlighting the main points of a topic or writing an important note etc.....
  4. Justify alignment: This alignment joins the text with both the left and  right margins, and stretches the text if needed. This alignment is used mostly for writing circulars, notices etc.....

• Saliva is secreted by salivary glands located under the tongue which contains digestive enzymes like salivary amylase, which break down starch into sugar. So, digestion of carbohydrates starts in the mouth itself. • Tongue helps in chewing, moistening, rolling and swallowing of food. • The food from mouth then goes down the oesophagus, which is the food pipe to the stomach, through the movement of walls of oesophagus (peristalsis) • Stomach mixes the food hence received with various digestive juices. • Inner lining of stomach secretes: • Mucus – protects the lining of stomach from being corroded by the acid. • Hydrochloric acid – creates an acidic medium and dissolves bits of food. • Digestive juices – break down protein into simpler substances. The food from stomach eventually moves into the small intestine. • Digestion in small intestine: It is the longest part (about 7.5 m long) of alimentary canal. It is the site where complete digestion of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats takes place. It gets intestinal juices from two different glands – liver and pancreas that help in the further digestion of food. Liver is the largest gland of the body and secretes bile juice. Bile juice is stored in the gall bladder and has a significant role in the digestion of fats. Pancreas has enzymes that help in total digestion of all food components. • The digestive tract and associated glands together constitute the digestive system.

Mahi Jaiswal 4 years, 4 months ago (11658689)

The digestion of food process begins in the mouth.. Mouth contains salivary glands, tongue, teeth and enzymes that breaks starch into simple sugar(Glucose). The food then paase through oesophagus into the stomach.. Stomach contains gastric glands that release mucus, hcl and pepsin.. The food is partly digest in the stomach with the help of digestive enzymes.. Then, food enter in the small intestine and small intestine absorb the minerals, protein, fats.. After the absorption waste material throw out from the body..

Hi here is ch 6 Integers Notes Class 6 Mathematics Revision Notes CHAPTER – 6 Integers We have seen that there are times when we need to use numbers with a negative sign. This is when we want to go below zero on the number line. These are called negative numbers. Some examples of their use can be in temperature scale, water level in lake or river, level of oil in tank etc. They are also used to denote debit account or outstanding dues. The collection of numbers..., – 4, – 3, – 2, – 1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, ... is called integers.  So, – 1, – 2, – 3, – 4, ... called negative numbers are negative integers and 1, 2, 3, 4, ... called positive numbers are the positive integers. We have also seen how one more than given number gives a successor and one less than given number gives predecessor. We observe that (a) When we have the same sign, add and put the same sign. (i) When two positive integers are added, we get a positive integer [e.g.. (+3) + (+2) = + 5]. (ii) When two negative integers are added, we get a negative integer [e.g.. (–2) +(–1)= – 3]. (b) When one positive and one negative integers are added we subtract them as whole numbers by considering the numbers without their sign and then put the sign of the bigger number with the subtraction obtained. The bigger integer is decided by ignoring the signs of the integers [e.g.. (+4) + (–3) = + 1 and (–4) + (+3) = – 1]. (c) The subtraction of an integer is the same as the addition of its additive inverse. We have shown how addition and subtraction of integers can also be shown on a number line.
