Given: Area of parallelogram=1470 cm2
Base(AB)=35 cm and base(AD)=49 cm
Since, Area of parallelogram=base×height
⇒1470=35×DL
⇒ DL=1470/35
⇒ DL=42 cm
Again, Area of parallelogram=base×height
⇒1470=49×BM
⇒BM=1470/49
⇒BM=30 cm
Thus, the lengths of DL and BM are 42 cm and 30 cm respectively.

The early traditions of Bhakti had the following features:
- The poet-saints emerged as leaders having a large number of devotees. They initiated the tradition of the Bhakti movement.
- They broke the orthodox Brahmanical framework by accommodating and acknowledging women and the people belonging to the lower castes.
- The Bhakti tradition also had a lot of diversity.
- The Bhakti tradition is classified into two categories: Saguna and Nirguna. Saguna means the worship of specific deities such as Vishnu, Shiva and their incarnational forms like the goddess or Devi. It emphasised the attributes of deities. On the other hand, the Nirguna Bhakti was the worship of an abstract form of God. It was worship with attributes.
- Preaching through local or regional language and travelling from place to place for spreading the religious message.
-
If a devotee worships the chosen deity with a pure heart, the deity will appear in the form in which he or she may desire.

Features of Plant Kingdom:
- Plants are autotrophic, except for some carnivorous plants. They trap photo energy from sunlight and convert it to chemical energy through photosynthesis. Because of these plants are the main channel for supplying energy in the food chain on earth.
- Reproduction in plants can be by any of the following modes: Vegetative or Asexual, and Sexual Reproduction.
- The plant cell is unique because of the presence of cell wall and large vacuoles. Green parts of plant contain chlorophyll, which helps them in trapping the photo energy.
- Sizes of plants can vary from microscopic to a very large tree. Plants are mainly divided into Algae, Bryophytes, Pteridophytes, Gymnosperms and Angiosperms.

- Lower plants, like algae and bryophytes, have thalloid structure, while higher plants, like gymnosperms and angiosperms, have clearly defined roots and stems.
- In higher plants root gives a means to anchor in the soil and helps the plant in taking minerals and water from the soil. Green leaves on the stem help them in photosynthesis.
- Most of the plant grow as a result of photosynthesis. After photosynthesis, extra food is utilized to facilitate growth.
- Usually in higher plants growth is unlimited and some taller trees can live a life of more than 1000 years.
- Being the main carbon fixation agents, plants are very important for the whole ecology.
- The whole food basket for humans is being filled by the plant kingdom. Even animal products, like milk and poultry, are indirect results of plants carbon fixation.
- Plants supply raw materials for a majority of economic activities. Wood for furniture and building materials come from plants. The whole paper industry is dependent on plant kingdom. Think of a life if there was no paper and you may understand the larger impact on human civilization.
- Angiosperms have special organs, called flower, to bear sexual parts. Flowers are helpful tool in facilitating variations and further evolution of the plant kingdom.

King Tutankhamun was the last of his family line. His funeral marked the end of a dynasty. He was laid to rest laden with gold as the royals in Tut’s time were extremely wealthy and thought they could take their riches with them. His tomb was discovered by Howard Carter, a British archaeologist in 1922, more than 3000 years after his death. The rich royal collection of jewellery and golden artefacts fascinated Carter. Visitors thronged the boy King’s tomb. The particulars of King Tut’s death and its aftermath are not clear.
In 1968, more than 40 years after Carter’s discovery, an anatomy Professor X-rayed the mummy. He revealed a startling fact. The breast-bone and front ribs of Tut were missing. On 5 January 2005, a CT scan was done to obtain precise data for an accurate forensic reconstruction of King Tut. It was hoped that it would offer new clues about his life and death. Thus Tut’s mummy has been the centre of fascination throughout the previous decades.
