Online Registration in CBSE Class IX and XI

Allahabad In a move to cut down paper work and do away with the tedious work of filling up registration forms in class IX and XI for board exams, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to implement the online registration system  in all CBSE-affiliated schools across the country from this academic session.

The CBSE launched the system last year in Delhi region on a trial basis. Encouraged by response in Delhi, the CBSE has sent circulars to its all regional offices including its office in Allahabad to prepare the software as per the guidelines.

“Last year, we introduced the online registration system in class IX in Delhi region on a trial basis which succeeded. This year the system would be extended to all our regional offices and would also cover class XI,” said a senior officer of the Board, New Delhi while talking to The Indian Express.

“The online submission of the data of List of Candidates (LOC) for Class X and XII students was introduced last year in Delhi region. This will ensure accuracy and timely receipt of student information. For entering the data, the CBSE allotted a user name and password to all its schools. After the online registration, it is mandatory for school principals to send the signed printout of the LOC to the Board’s respective regional offices,” said Rajveer Singh, the regional officer of the CBSE, Allahabad region.

    My son has filled his registration form for CBSE Exams for 12th class from one of the school.
    Now he wishes to change his school and I want to know whether the same registration will continue or he has to apply for fresh registration from the new school.
    Kindly send me the guidelines laid by the CBSE Board for this process at your earliest and oblige.

  19. my son could not do well in his 11th non medical this year, can he appear in 12th commerce stream instead of continue in 11th. Does it required to amend the registration.

  30. Can someone please guide me about the procedure to get a duplicate 9th class registration certificate.
    I lost the one i got in my ninth std and so did many of my friends as we weren’t really aware of its importance.
    Now hat i am in 11th, the school authorities want it again.
    please help out soon.

    i m newly appointed principal of alpine international school, ludhiana, password for ix and xi online submission for the last year 2010-2011 is lost . so How to proceed this year for submission of students data ? Kindly provide help regarding the password.

    i want to ask that some of the students of class 11 were registered with cbse in session 2010-2011 ,but they could not pass class 11 and still in the same class,but now they want to change their stream or one of the subject in the same stream. Are those to be registered freshly with new subjects or their subjects may be changed with last year’s registration number?
    please guide.

  36. my daughter is XI with science ,now she does not want to continue in science due to loss of interest and bad health, registration is over,how to change the subject,school say that they cant do,only cbsc can change the subject.

    mail me these details and i will do online registration in cbse board and i will send a letter to education minister in defence colony after that they will send you certificate in my home and i will send it to your permanent adrees with the help of fax or courier……

  47. sir.. i am a student of class 11 and i am in the same condition..
    first you have to contact the authority responsible for the online registration.. and talk about the matter..after that they will give you registration no of your son and they will contact cbse that the child has taken admission in the other school.. then u will have to give the registration no to the responsible authority of the new school.. and they will continue the registration…it is same as the case of transfer..
