Important Instructions for Second Board Examination (CBSE Class 10)
CBSE circular on the second board examination specifies the terms and conditions to appear for the exam.
1. Registration and Fee Submission
- Candidates who wish to appear in the Second Board Examination but did not submit their names during the first phase of LOC can now do so by submitting their details along with the required examination fee.
- Those who had already submitted their names earlier are required to complete the fee payment process.
2. Withdrawal Option
- Candidates who had registered previously but no longer wish to appear in the Second Examination are allowed to withdraw their names.
3. Change in Mathematics Option
- Students have the flexibility to switch their Mathematics level for the Second Examination:
- Those who opted for Mathematics (Standard) in the Main Examination can choose Mathematics (Basic).
- Those who opted for Mathematics (Basic) can switch to Mathematics (Standard).
- No changes are permitted in any other subjects.
4. Improvement Opportunity
- All students who have passed and are eligible can improve their performance in up to three subjects from Science, Mathematics, Social Science, and Languages.
5. Special Categories of Students
- Sports students permitted by the Board can have their names added within the given schedule.
