CTET 2018 Notification & Eligibility Test The Central Board of Secondary Education will be conducting the 11th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 16/09/2018 (Sunday). The test will be conducted in 92 cities all over the country. The detailed Information Bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and important dates will be available on CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in w.e.f. 12/06/2018 (Tuesday). The aspiring candidates are requested to download the Information Bulletin from above mentioned website only and read the same carefully before applying. The aspiring candidates have to apply online only through CTET website www.ctet.nic.in. The online application process will start from 22/06/2018 (Friday) onwards. The last date for submitting online application is 19/07/2018 (Thursday) and fee can be paid upto 21-07-2018 (Saturday) before 3.30.p.m.

CTET 2018 Application Fee

  • General/OBC: One paper Rs 700/Both paper Rs 1200
  • SC/ST/Differently Abled Person: One paper Rs 350/ Both paper 600

GST as applicable will be charged extra by the Bank

Mode of Payment:

  • Remittance through E-Challan by depositing the prescribed fee in CTET Exam Fee Account with Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.
  • o Payment by Syndicate Bank e-Challan
  • o Payment by Canara Bank e-Challan
  • By Online-mode (Payment by Debit Card / Credit Card).

CTET Eligibility Test 2018

 Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V:  (Primary Stage)

  1. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
  2. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
  3. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)..
  4. enior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
  5. Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

 Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII:  (Elementary Stage)

  1. Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
  2. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year  Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
  3. Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year  Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
  4. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  5. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
  6. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)*.

Age Limit CTET Teacher Exams 2018

The minimum age required to apply for CTET Teacher Exams is 18 years and there is no upper age limit i.e. candidates who are 18 and more can apply for this test. The only primary condition is to fulfil the desired education qualifications required for this exam.
