Raj Kumar Shukla was a poor, emaciated sharecropper who had been a victim of British landlords. He was illiterate; however, he was determined to fight against the injustice of the British landlords. It was he who went to meet Gandhi Ji to seek his help to fight the British landlords. Gandhi Ji was exceedingly occupied; but he did not leave his side until he had given him a date to visit Champaran. Impressed by the sharecropper’s determination, Gandhi Ji gave him an appointment. Raj Kumar Shukla played a very important role in the Champaran episode.

Tournament is a large contest of many rounds among various teams. It is a competition held among various teams in a particular activity according to a fixed schedule where a winner is decided.

Number of teams participating are 27.

Number of matches : n - 1 = 27 - 1 = 26 matches

Teams in upper half = n +1/2 = 27 + 1/2 = 28/2 = 14 teams

Teams in lower half = n - 1/2 = 27 - 1/2 = 26/2 = 13 teams

Number of teams participating are odd so number of byes will be = 32 - 27 = 5 byes.

In Knockout system the team which loses the match is eliminated and the winners continue to play. When we have less time usually we conduct single elimination tournament.

Date/time and court number, is specified for each match so that teams/players report for their matches well in advance.

An incident ray is parallel to emergent ray in refraction as the angle of incidence is equal to the angle of emergence.

Let the refractive index of the medium be = u

Snell's law is a theory used to describe the relationship between incidence and refraction angles when referring to light or other waves crossing a boundary between two separate isotropic mediums, such as water, glass or air.

According to snell's law -

sin i/sin r = u  --- 1

sin r/ sin e = 1/u  -- 2

Multiplying equation 1 and 2 -

= sin i/ sine = 1

= sin i = sin e

Therefore ∠e = ∠i and are parallel.

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 4 months ago (2898529)

By using Snell theorem of refraction,

n21 = sin i / sin r

n21 = 1 / n12

n12 = sin r / sin e

n21 = sin e / sin r

sin i / sin r = sin e / sin r

Thus,  sin i = sin e

Therefore, Incident ray is parallel to emergent ray.

The two angles are complementary angles, hence their sum is 90 degrees.

The one angle is 4 times its complement.     (given)

Then, if the complementary angle is x, then the other angle will be 4x.

Thus, we have

x + 4x = 90

5x = 90

x = 18

4x = 72

Thus, the measures of two angles are 18 and 72.
