The field of a synchronous generator is the winding to which the DC excitation current is applied. The armature is the winding to which the load is connected. In small generators, the field windings are often on the stator, and the armature windings are on the rotor. The core of an armature is made up of lots of thin metal plates called laminations, which are usually about 0.5mm thick. The thickness of laminations depend upon the frequency at which the armature is designed to work. Laminations are stamped out on a press.

Ray was an old and deaf owner of an old clock-shop. He repaired and sold old clocks. He communicated with his customers using pen and paper. But he was wise with long experience. Anger boiled within him when he noticed a gun in the man’s pocket. But he remained cool. He was generous and helpful also. He overpaid his visitors in need. He sent away the unfriendly visitors quite happy. Ray could neither speak nor hear. So he communicated with his customer by writing his message on a notepad. The visitor also wrote his reply on paper.

Solution: Use property of Alternate interior angles
∠APR = ∠PRD
50° + y = 127°
y = 127° − 50°
y = 77°
use same property of Alternate interior angles
∠APQ = ∠PQR

The 'dust of snow' means the fine particles or flakes of snow. The sudden shower in the form of the dust of snow changed the poet's mood. The 'dust of snow' means the fine particles or flakes of snow. The sudden shower in the form of the dust of snow changed the poet's mood. This article focuses on the short poem, Dust of snow summary by Robert Frost. It illustrates the extraordinary curative power of nature and trivial things in life. Nature cures everything whether it is awful mood or illness. The author is experiencing one such bad day when a crow’s movement near hemlock dusted snow upon him. The snow instantly makes him happier. His day gets tons better. The supremacy of nature made him realise his problems are petty. The fact that hemlock is poisonously combined with crow being the indicator of doom and fear is utilized in the poem because the carrier of happiness within the lifetime of the narrator is ironical. The poet tries to spotlight that sometimes creatures link with negative aspects of life often bring change and happiness. Being outdoors in nature, with all its unpredictability can benefit anyone, anywhere at any time.

A nephron is the basic structural and functional unit of the kidneys that regulates water and soluble substances in the blood by filtering the blood, reabsorbing what is needed, and excreting the rest as urine. Its function is vital for homeostasis of blood volume, blood pressure, and plasma osmolarity. The functional unit of the kidney is the nephron and it is called the functional unit because its the smallest structure in the kidney that can carry out its functions.

Optical density is the process of transmission of light or other electromagnetic radiation by matter. A measure of the transmittance through an optical medium. In spectroscopy, optical density is the measure of absorbance, and is defined as the ratio of the intensity of light falling upon a material and the intensity transmitted. The optical density of a material relates to the sluggish tendency of the atoms of a material to maintain the absorbed energy of an electromagnetic wave in the form of vibrating electrons before reemitting it as a new electromagnetic disturbance.

Meghna Thapar 5 years, 4 months ago (6237)

The major advantage of road transport is that it can enable door-to-door delivery of goods and materials and can provide a very cost-effective means of cartage, loading and unloading. Road transport provides a faster and less costly means of transporting goods over short distances. Other modes of transport like water, air or rail may incur delays in transit of goods with loading and reloading required in multiple locations. Road transport not only requires less initial capital investment, the cost of operation and maintenance is also comparatively less. Even if the rate charged by motor transport is a little higher than that by the railways, the actual effective cost of transporting goods by motor transport is less.

In chemistry, resonance is a way of describing bonding in certain molecules or ions by the combination of several contributing structures into a resonance hybrid in valence bond theory.  Resonance structures: Is defined as difference between actual bond energy and energy of most stable resonating structures. Resonance averages the bond characteristics of a molecule as a whole. Resonance stabilizes the molecule because energy of the resonance hybrid is less than the energy of any canonical forms.

Meghna Thapar 5 years, 4 months ago (6237)

Organising refers to the procedure of aligning the activities in a certain order. It contains designing the roles and directing the people towards accomplishment of goals. Human efforts along with the resources are brought together and coordinated under this function. The focus of the function lies in enabling people to work together and implementing the plans for successful attainment of objectives. Through organising the working relationships of an organisation gets clearly defined, thereby ensuring its smooth functioning. The following are the steps involved in a successful process of organising. (i) Identifying and Dividing the Work. Under organising, the very first step deals with identifying the activities and dividing them according to the defined plans. The actions are divided as per the objectives. A clear division of work is done so as to avoid any duplicity. (ii) Creating Departments. Herein, the divided actions are further grouped into units based on the similarity in nature. That is, similar activities are grouped together. Such departmentalisation promotes specialisation. Each department specialises in a particular task. Departments can be formed on the basis of several criteria such as working profiles, regions, product, etc. (iii) Assigning Duties: The third step under organising deals with assigning the roles and responsibilities to the personnel. Under each department work is allocated to different members as per their skill and ability. While assigning the duties it must be ensured that the best suited and proficient person is selected for the work. (iv) Establishing the Relationships: Any organisation needs a proper hierarchic structure to work efficiently. Every person should know whom he's working under and to whom he needs to report. Clear establishment of such relationships help in smooth functioning of an organisation.

Besides, he wanted to marry a girl whom he admired. He was not in favour of arranged marriage. Ranga gave two examples. An officer about thirty, married a girl about twenty- five. Ranga hoped they would be able to talk lovingly to each other. The second example is that of Dushyanta falling in love with Shakuntala, who was quite mature.
