Galvanometer
A galvanometer is a device (instrument) used for detecting feeble electric voltage, currents in a circuit. It has a coil pivoted (or suspended) between concave pole faces of a strong laminated horse shoe magnet. When an electric current passes through the coil it deflects. Its deflection is noted by attaching a pointer to the coil (or by using a lamp and scale arrangement). The deflection is proportional to the current passed.
The galvanometer coil has a moderate resistance (about 100 ohms) and the galvanometer itself has a small current carrying capacity (1 mA).

If the plasma membrane ruptures or breakdown then the cell will not be able to exchange material from its surrounding by diffusion or osmosis. Thereafter the protoplasmic material will be disappeared and the cell will die.

मात्र दस वर्ष की उम्र में इन्होंने गायकी की पहली मंचीय प्रस्तुति की। इनके संगीत की मुख्य विशेषता मालवा लोकधुनों और हिंदुस्तानी शास्त्रीय संगीत का सुंदर सामंजस्य है जिसका अद्भुत नमूना कबीर के पदों का उनके द्वारा गायन है। इन्होंने लोगों में रचे-बसे लुप्तप्राय पदों का संग्रह कर और उन्हें स्वरों में बाँधकर इन्हें अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पहचान दी। इनकी संगीत-साधना को देखते हुए इन्हें कालिदास सम्मान और पद्मविभूषण सहित बहुत-से सम्मानों से अलंकृत किया गया। इनका देहावसान 1992 ई. में हुआ।

When the English came to our land, they did not bring the industrialisation alone. They carried with themselves their culture, their religion and their language to our home. We, who had been ruled by the Slaves and the Moguls for centuries were now about to face yet another foreign dominance, which was to leave an impact on us that was to live for ever in the future. The biggest of all influences was the language English. Even after so many years of independence, we Indians are not able to pull ourselves out of this inferiority complex. They ruled our nation once and now even after so many decades, they rule our minds. We consider those inferior who do not know the English language. It is nothing but a language after all, why feel so proud about it when it is not even ours. Yes it is a global language and it is good to know foreign languages, however we must treat a language as language only and not as a status symbol.
This falsehood has been reflected very well in the story. The narrator, Shyama, showed how when Ranga returns from Bangalore, after completing his studies, the way people anticipated his return and the excitement on knowing that Ranga now knew English, “a priceless commodity”. They all wanted to see if there has been any change in Ranga after studying English in Bangalore. However, there was no change or little in Ranga's personality. He even did the traditional namaskar to Shyama by bowing down and touching his feet.

Explanation:
Kezia was scared of her father as he looked like a giant. Every morning he used to give her a good bye kiss. She used to feel uncomfortable till her father was at home. She even stammered while answering him.
In the presence of her father Kezia stammered a lot while speaking. She had this problem from the beginning but she had managed to overcome it. But when she spoke with her father who according to her had a big figure like a giant and she stammered as she was scared of her father.
