Speech on World Heritage Day: World Heritage Day is observed and celebrated. every year on April 18. The organization that is International Council on Monuments and Sites in the particular year 1982 officially declared April 18 as the World Heritage Day.

The International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) association was set up on the standards set out in the Venice Charter, otherwise called the 1964 International Charter on the Conservation and Restoration of Monuments and Sites.

It is important to value our Heritage as by valuing our Heritage we value our culture, our past as well as our present and our native place and everything connected to it.The Heritages preserves the history, the past. It preserves the lives and decades that are bygone and are only stories and memories now. Yet through the Heritages, they go on living, through the Heritages, the past becomes immortal thus we too must make consistent effort to understand and value or Heritage and persist the immortality of the past.

However, a living organism can also have movements, which are not visible to the naked eye. Therefore, the presence of life processes is a fundamental criterion that can be used to decide whether something is alive or not.

Evidence which can ensure something is alive or not

 • Shape and Dimension
 • Reproduction
 • Growth
 • Cellular structure
 • Metabolism
 • Movements
 • Self-regulations
 • Variation
 • Co- ordination
 • Definite life cycle
 • Death

Example – Movements are fast in most animals but motions in plants are generally slow.

Akbar asked Tansen to join his court because he was impressed with his singing.

Some of the other courtiers were jealous of Tansen because Akbar was fond of him and often gave him gifts.

Tansen was a talented musician. He came to the notice of Emperor Akbar. Tansen was honoured with a place in Akbar’s court. The jealous courtiers decided to ruin him. They demanded that Tansen should sing Raga Deepak. They knew that the Raga would bum him to ashes. However. Tansen accepted the challenge. He trained two girls to sing Raga Megh to bring rain and put out the fire. Tansen was thus saved wisely.

the use of earthworms to convert organic waste into fertilizer.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 3 months ago (2577571)

The term vermiculture mainly refers to the scientific process of cultivating worm or artificial rearing of worms to decompose organic food wastes into a nutrient-rich material. The output of vermiculture is called vermicompost and is formed by the process in which earthworms consume the farmyard manure and roughages in addition to the wastes from farms and thereby producing it. The produced vermicompost is rich in terms of nutrients and other plant growth-promoting substances, which is capable of supplying necessary mineral nutrients to help and sustain plants growth.

What is the short cut key

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 3 months ago (2577571)

The home row keys are the row of keys on the computer keyboard your fingers rest on when not typing. For example, on the standard QWERTY United States keyboard, the home row keys for your left hand are A, S, D, and F and your right hand are J, K, l, and ; (semicolon). For both hands, the thumbs rest on the spacebar. By positioning your hands correctly on the home row keys, you can memorize where all other keys on the keyboard are located.
