Federalism: This refers to the existence of more than one level of government in the country. In India, we have governments at the state level and at the centre. Panchayati Raj is the third tier of government. While each state in India enjoys autonomy in exercising powers on certain issues, subjects of national concern require that all of these states follow the laws of the central government. Under federalism, the states are not merely agents of the federal government but draw their authority from the Constitution as well. All persons in India are governed by laws and policies made by each of these levels of government.

The Rule of law states that all laws apply equally to all citizens of the country and no one can be above the law. The law is equal and similar for all, be it a government official, a wealthy person or even the President, none of them are above the law. Hence, the law cannot differentiate between people on the basis of their religion, caste or gender. Nevertheless, any crime or violation of law has to be established after which a specific punishment is given.

The rule of law means is that all laws apply equally to all citizens of the country and no one can be above the law. Neither a government official nor a wealthy person nor even the President of the country is above the law. All persons in independent India are equal before the law. The law cannot discriminate between persons on the basis of their religion, caste or gender. There is a specific punishment for every crime or violation of law and also a specific process through which the guilt of the person has to be established. The punishment for any crime committed will be the same for every person, irrespective of his power or position.

The sky appears blue when the scattering of light takes place through the atmosphere. The blue color of the sky is due to scattering of light from the atmosphere. As there is no atmosphere in space and hence light does not scatter into its constituent colors that is why the sky appears dark instead of blue to an astronaut in space.
Gaurav Seth 5 years, 3 months ago (2898529)
Scattering of light is the phenomenon that causes the sky to appear blue. Fine dust in the earth's atmosphere scatters the sunlight. Out of all the constituent colours of sunlight, blue colour is scattered the most. Thus, the sky appears blue to us. However, an astronaut in space does not have an atmosphere surrounding him. Thus, there is no question of scattering of light. Thus, the sky appears dark instead of blue to an astronaut.

Given an electric dipole placed in a non-uniform electric field. An electric dipole always experiences a torque when placed in uniform as well as non-uniform electric field. But in non-uniform electric field, dipole will also experience net force of attraction. So the electric dipole in non-uniform electric field experiences both torque and force.
