Beetroot is one of the best ways to increase haemoglobin levels. It is not only high in iron content, but also folic acid along with potassium and fibre. Drink beetroot juice every day to ensure a healthy blood count. Legumes like lentils, peanuts, peas and beans can also help increase haemoglobin levels significantly.

The part of skeleton which can be bent and is not as hard as bone is known as cartilage.

Siya Panchal 5 years, 2 months ago (9918108)

Some additional parts other than bones which can be bent are called cartilage ex: ear bones, parts of nose etc

Vidisha Sonawane 5 years, 2 months ago (9737709)

Cartilage is a smooth bone in our body. It is not hard bone. It is much softer than a bone. It is present in our upper ear pinna.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 2 months ago (2577571)

It is a thin, fibrous, flexible connective tissue, which is mainly found in the external ear, larynx, respiratory tract and the articulating surface of the joints. These cartilages lack blood vessels; therefore, the growth and development of these tissues are slower compared to that of other tissues. Altogether, there are three different types of cartilages, namely:

  1. Hyaline cartilage: It serves as a shock absorber and allows the smooth movement of the bones at joints. They are mainly found in the nose, respiratory tract and joints
  2. Fibrocartilage is found in the knee and it is tough and inflexible.
  3. Elastic cartilage is found in-ear, epiglottis and larynx. It is the most flexible cartilage.

The Garoghlanian family was very poor, they had no money and their whole tribe was poverty-stricken. Every branch of the family was deeply mired in poverty and not even the old men in the family could fathom the means through which they got the money to provide for their families. But the family was famous for its honesty. The family had been famed for its honesty for close to eleven centuries, even when they were considered to be one of the wealthiest families. The people of the family were proud, honest and strict believers in differentiating between right and wrong. They never took advantage of anybody nor did they steal from anyone. No member of the family could ever be falsely taken to be a thief.
