Political Parties are rightly called government in disguise because:
- It is the political parties who organise themselves,contest in elections so as to aquire power and form the government.
- Parties form and run government,they play an active role as opposition by offering constructive criticism and an alternative to the existing government.
- Political Parties frame their own policies in the form of manifestos which includes their vision on the basis of which they would establish governance in the country.
- Political parties makes laws ,policies for the country.Members of the legislature belongs to the various political parties and are guided by the party ideologies.
- Political Parties provides access to people to government machinaries and welfare schemes.
