Conduction: This is a flow of heat by direct contact. Heat travels from a warmer object toward a colder object. A pan warming on a stove is an example.
Convection: This is a transfer of heat by mixing a fluid. Convection occurs within liquids and gases. Examples include boiling water and when warm water mixes with cold water. In meteorology, convection is a common heat transfer mechanisms in the troposphere.

Impact on foreign exchange rate due to increase in import duty on gold:

  • The import of gold will fall when the government increases the import duty on gold.
  • This reduces the demand for foreign currency.
  • With the supply of foreign currency remaining the same, the foreign exchange rate would fall. This implies an appreciation of rupees.

Anuradha Chaudhary 4 years, 9 months ago (8655683)

We prove by contradiction method. Let assume that √5 is rational. √5=p/q ---eq......1 P and q are co prime integer with common factor 1. Squaring both side equation 1 5=p²/q² :. q²=p²/5 eq...2 It means p² have factor 5 so p would also have sector 5. p=5x squaring both side p²=25x² Puting this value of p² in equation 2 q²=25x²/5 q²=5x² q²/5=x² This means q² have factor 5. But our assumption says p and q have common factor 1. So our assumption was wrong √5 is irrational number.

Mamta ... 4 years, 9 months ago (9898848)

yes √ 5 is an irrational no.

Ayan Patel 4 years, 9 months ago (9166696)

Let 5 be a rational number. then it must be in form of  qp  where,  q=0     ( p and q are co-prime) 5=qp 5×q=p Suaring on both sides, 5q2=p2           --------------(1) p2 is divisible by 5. So, p is divisible by 5. p=5c Suaring on both sides, p2=25c2         --------------(2) Put p2 in eqn.(1) 5q2=25(c)2 q2=5c2 So, q is divisible by 5. . Thus p and q have a common factor of 5. So, there is a contradiction as per our assumption. We have assumed p and q are co-prime but here they a common factor of 5. The above statement contradicts our assumption. Therefore, 5 is an irrational number.

Ayan Patel 4 years, 9 months ago (9166696)

√5 =p/q

Ayan Patel 4 years, 9 months ago (9166696)

Let us assume that√5 is rational

Equality before law means everyone should be treated in the same way And universal adult franchise allow everyone to vote so these are two different topics

Aziz Fatima 4 years, 9 months ago (9792984)

During the 18th century, people were inspired by the ideas of nationalism and liberalism and demanded equality before the law. At the same time, the right to vote and to get elected was granted exclusively to the property owning men. The remaining men and women were classified as passive citizens. For example , Only under the Jacobins period, all adult men enjoyed right to vote in France. However the Napoleonic code went back to the limited suffrage, and reduced the women to the status of a minor-- subject to the authorities of fathers and husbands. However, the universal adult franchise means the right to vote for every person. In this way , equality before the law was different from universal adult franchise.

Diffusion, in multicellular organisms, is not enough to meet energy requirements of innermost cells of its body, as O2 reaches those cells gradually through this method.

Man Mohan Singh 4 years, 9 months ago (9421597)

Because human has a very complex body structure and it take nearly 3 years to transfer o2 from heart to legs.

Ayan Patel 4 years, 9 months ago (9166696)

Size of multicellular organism is very large as compare to unicellular organism and diffusion is passive mode of transportation of substance and can transfer gases up to a small distance only

Tanu Srivastava 4 years, 9 months ago (5155550)

Because multicellular organisms has complex working systems which need more energy(oxygen) at a time where as diffusion is a very slow process which can't be able to fulfill the needs of sufficient oxygen to the body

Due to less steric hinderence in aldehydes then ketones

Nidhi Bharti 4 years, 9 months ago (6969994)

Aldehyde are more reactive because in ketone there are 2 alkyl goups which causes more stearic hindrance to the nucleophile but in Aldehyde there is only 1 alkyl group. Also due the presence of 2 alky group, +I effect is more on carbony carbon of ketone which reduces it's electrophilicity

  • Add spoonful curd to each of the beakers and leave the beakers undisturbed for 8 hours and curd is ready.
  • Similarly, take 50 ml of soya bean milk in three other beakers and heat the beakers to 30o, 40o and 50o C respectively.
  • Add 1 spoonful curd to each of these beakers.  Leave the beakers.

4 undisturbed for 8 hours and curd is formed.

Type of milk Beaker no Temperature Quality of curd Taste of curd
