Step-by-step explanation: Given 3 vertices of triangle that are P(0,1), Q(0,5)and R(3,4). We have to find out the area formed by 3 vertices of triangle. Here the triangle which is formed has base 4 units and height 3 units as shown in attachment. Area of triangle ABC is \frac{1}{2}\times base \times height21×base×height                                     =  \frac{1}{2}\times 4 \times 321×4×3                                    = 6 sq units

Let the height of the building is BC, the height of the transmission tower which is fixed at the top of the building be AB.

D is the point on the ground from where the angles of elevation of the bottom B and the top A of the transmission tower AB are 45° and 60° respectively.

The distance of the point of observation D from the base of the building C is CD.

Combined height of the building and tower = AC = AB + BC

Trigonometric ratio involving sides AC, BC, CD, and ∠D (45° and 60°) is tan θ.

In ΔBCD,

tan 45° = BC/CD

1 = 20/CD

CD = 20

In ΔACD,

tan 60° = AC/CD

√3 = AC/20

AC = 20√3

Height of the tower, AB = AC - BC

AB = 20√3 - 20 m

= 20 (√3 - 1) m

The books we read today are different from the Rigveda in that the Rigveda was chanted and heard, it was later handwritten. The Vedas were memorized by the students, and later passed on to the next generations by speaking, listening and then memorizing but today books are written and then read.

Miss beam was the director of a boarding school where boys and girls stayed and studied. There was something very special about this school - children have to live the life of the blind, deaf and lame for a day. On a day when a student had to be blind she/he had to cover her/his eyes and move around with someone's help. On the day when students had his lame day she had to remain lame by binding his legs and then using a pair of crutches. The purpose of this kind of training was to make children understand the struggles of disabled people around the world and develop sympathy and care.

Consider the triangles AEB and CDB
{tex}\angle{/tex}EBA = {tex}\angle{/tex}DBC ... (Common angle)  ... (i)
Further, we have:
{tex}\angle{/tex}BEA = 180 - y
{tex}\angle{/tex}BDC = 180 - x
Since x = y, we have:
180 - x = 180 - y
{tex}\angle{/tex}BEA = {tex}\angle{/tex}BDC ... (ii)
AB = CB ... (Given) ... (iii)
From (i), (ii) and (iii), we have:
{tex}\triangle{/tex}BDC{tex}\cong{/tex}{tex}\triangle{/tex}BEA ... (AAS criterion)
{tex}\therefore{/tex} AE = CD (CPCT)
Hence, proved.

To Calculation of new profit sharing ratio:

A's new ratio= old ratio-sacrifice

                    = 5/10-1/5

                    = 3/10

B's ratio= 4/10

C's new ratio= 1/10+1/5

                     = 3/10

New ratio= 3:4:3

Sacrificing ratio:

A's sacrifice= 1/5

C's gain= 1/5

The new profit sharing ratio= 1:1:1

Calculation of sacrificing ratio:

A's sacrifice = 5/10-1/3

                  = 5/30

B's sacrifice= 4/10-1/3

                   = 2/30

Sacrificing ratio= 5:2

C's gain= 7/30
