a = 2 , d = 4, an =50 an = a + (n-1)d 50 = 2 + (n-1)(4) 50 - 2 = 4(n-1) 48 = 4n - 4 4n = 48 + 4 4n = 52 n = 52÷ 4 n = 13

Badal Bhati 3 years, 8 months ago (12286675)

Answer - 148 is wrong Answer 13 = n is right Sorry for my mistake

Badal Bhati 3 years, 8 months ago (12286675)

First one solution method is wrong so please do see as right answer .

Badal Bhati 3 years, 8 months ago (12286675)

Let a = 2 , d= 4 Let an be 50 So , we have to find n = ? an = a + ( n - 1 ) d Put the values of a , d , an in formula 50 = 2 + (n - 1) 4 50 = 2 + 4n -4 50 = -2 +4n 50+2 = 4n 52 / 4 = n 13 = n So the value of n is 13

Badal Bhati 3 years, 8 months ago (12286675)

Given that : AP : 2,6,10.........50 Let a = 2 , d = 4 Let an be 50 Now we have given n = 50 an =a+(n - 1)d 50 = 2+(50 - 1) 4 50 = 2+ 49 × 4 50 = 196+2 50 = 198 50 - 198 = -148 So Answer is - 148
