Max is a secret agent and a rival and enemy of Ausable. He is slender, a little less than tall. He appears to be crafty and has the countenance of a fox. There is nothing especially menacing about him except his pistol. Max had a lean physique. He was a little less than tall and his features suggested the craftiness and cunningness of a fox. Apart from the automatic pistol in his hand, nothing else was menacingAt the end and climax of the story, Max turns out to be dead since he was outwitted by Ausable who claimed that there was a balcony(which wasn't really there) under the window. When the door began to be knocked by someone who was claimed to be the cops by Ausable, Max jumped down of the top floor to meet his death.1

The disciple did not want to leave the palace because the most important thing in life for him was food. And in the kingdom of fools, food was very cheap and good. The disciple therefore, stays back in the kingdom, refusing to listen to his guru word. It eventually turned out to be a very foolish idea because he eats without a respite and begins to resemble to resemble a street sidw overfed sacred bull
