MODERATION POLICY OF BOARD’S EXAMINATION

Prior to declaration of results of Senior School Certificate (Class XII) and Secondary School (Class X) the Board adopts the Moderation Policy in the following manner:

a) To compensate the candidates for the difficulties experienced in solving the question in a specified time due to misinterpretation/ambiguity of questions and errors, if any, leading to multiplicity of performance and causing constraints on consumption of time for other questions.

b) To compensate the vagaries and to bring uniformity in the evaluation process.

c) To bring parity on account of element of subjectivity involved in the evaluation process.

d) To level up the mean achievements in the set-wise performance of the candidates attributable to the difference in the difficulty level of different sets of question papers in the multiple sets scheme.

e) To maintain a near parity of pass percentage of the candidates in the current year vis-a-vis preceding years, subject-wise and overall.

  1. in the paper of mathematics(+2),in ajmer region(ahmedabad), question number 26(set 3) was not printed and the question on probability(q no.27) was wrong.

  2. errors from cbse was the least expected all over india.if so, compensate the particular question along with time wasted in it.but how ? who knew how much time one lost to that?

  3. sir i am vikram from west bengal and our physics paper as well as maths paper was quite tough and more over we had two questions which were wrong as said by all and i felt it to,one was of probability and the other was of some function where the function was only not printed,and sir i am a weak student so i am very worried that if i will pass or not in maths as two 6 marks questions were wrong,so what will the step by cbse for those wrong questions ??
    please reply sir we the students are very much worried…

    WILL YOU GIVEFULL MARKS TO THOSE STUDENTS WHO HAD NOT EVEN ATTEMPTED THE TWO WRONG QUESTOINS IN MATHS PAPER SET-3 OF CLASS 12.REPLY ME.

Sir, The maths question paper has been a problem for me and also my mates. the problem here is that whether the probability question is a correct one or not. as a case has been filed by the dav schools regarding this question… i request u to pls reply and help me as my total is completely dependent on this:-(..

    i m really worried about my mats marks … i m really unable to expect any thing in it …hope so sir chekin vl be vry easy n ….n there will b no shoch while we get our results
