Change in the Accountancy syllabus of Class XII

Based on the feedback received from the teachers, the Board has decided to make following changes in the Accountancy syllabus of Class XII for the Board Examination 2010.

The following sub-topics will be deleted from Unit 4 of the syllabus, namely
a)    Issue of debentures at a discount.
b)    Writing off of discount on issue of debentures.
c)    Sinking fund as one of the methods of Redemption of Debentures.

Kindly bring this change to the notice of the concerned teachers and students. The revised Sample Question Papers for the Board’s Examination year 2010 have been posted on the Board’s website www.cbse.nic.in. Their printed copies will be shortly available in the Board’s Publication Stores.
