CBSE class-12 Compartment Exam on July 16, 2014

Class 12 compartment examinations will be conducted on July 16, 2014 at different centers for CBSE students who could not pass the exam in any one subject. Even in case where students have opted for additional subjects and passed the exam but got less then qualifying marks in two main subjects, they will be eligible to sit in only one subject for compartment.

Hence, there is only one day examination for all the subjects in class-12 CBSE compartment examination that is 16^th July 2014.

For example, if a student have opted physical education as an additional subject and passed it but could not clear two main subjects viz Maths and chemistry. Now he/she will have to choose any one subject in which he/she will appear in compartment exam.

Thus, even after technically passing the compartmental examination and getting class-12 pass certificate,  he/she will not be able to join any medical or engineering courses as he/she have not qualified PCM/PCB in class-12.

In our opinion, CBSE should take compartment examination in atleast two subjects so that they can save one year and may get admission in courses where PCB/PCM is required.

 

Note : Compartment result will be declared in second week of August 2014.
