CBSE will declare class 10 result on 31 May 2011 for Chennai region. Result for other regions will follow in 2-3 days. The board will declare results of Class X and the school-based Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) after Class XII.

Visit http://cbseresults.nic.in for class 10 result.

This year will mark the first CCE board results for over five lakh students, who opted for the school-based test rather than the board exam. CBSE has completed evaluation and assessment of Class X candidates from both CCE and board. The tabulation process is on. A leading Newspapers published a news that Class X results is expected to be declared on May 16 but it is not declared on that day.

The board has set up a software to analyse school based assessments under the CCE system. This year the total number of registered candidates for Class X exams stands at 10,61,566.

This is a 15% increase from last year.

    I respect your views, but in the news paper it was written that board papers are not checked fully.Also every year class 10th result is declared after the declaration of class 12th results so how can it be this  year that 10th’s result will be declared earlier than 12th’s result….

  198. Will d class 10th come or not. I have read in Times of India dat a CBSE official said that it is very herculean task to make results of 11 lakh students according 2 CCE scheme. So, its getting late.

  217. All the class 10th cbse students are growing fatigued of the postponement of the results. The class 11th admissions are going on.. and the cbse students have to bear the brunt. This is not fair! We are the last ones to get our results. How annoying!!!!!!!!!!!

It is very shame for the complete administration of the CBSE since the results are being delayed by time and again which inordinately effect the propspectus of students who are planning to seek admissions for their highers studies. The Director of the CBSE to look into the matter personally and arrange for early release of results.
