Sustainable development can be defined as an approach to the economic development of a country without compromising the quality of the environment for future generations. In the name of economic development, the price of environmental damage is paid in the form of land degradation, soil erosion, air & water pollution, deforestation, etc. This damage may surpass the advantages of having more quality output of goods and service.
Sustainable development can be achieved if we follow the following points,
- Restricting human being
- Technological development should be input effective and not input utilizing
- The rate of consumption should not surpass the rate of salvation
- For renewable resources, the rate of consumption should not surpass the rate of production of renewable substitutes.
- All types of pollution should be minimized
- Sensible use of Natural Resources

Metals are an excellent conductor of electricity and heat because the atoms in the metals form a matrix through which outer electrons can move freely. Instead of orbiting their respective atoms, they form a sea of electrons that surround the positive nuclei of the interacting metal ions. The electrons then move freely throughout the electron sea.

We know that,
an=a+(n-1)d
So,a20=a+(20-1)(3)
a20=a+19(3)
a20=a+57
Similarly, a15=a+14d
a15=a+14(3)
a15=a+42
Now,a20-a15=(a+57)-(a+42)
=a+57-a-42
=57-42
=15

History:
The number system is a mathematical notation which is used to represent numbers of a given set. The number system with which we are most familiar is the decimal (base-10) system. It is also known as system of numeration or numeral systems which helps us to express numbers using digits or other symbols.
Basically, the number system represents a meaningful set of numbers including integers , rational numbers. Each and every no. shows the algebraic and arithmetic numbers.
In ancient times, various systems for number system were used such as the ancient Egyptians, the ancient Babylonians.
But , now - a -days, the Decimal Number System is used.
For example: 123.
This shows three numerals : 1,2,3. Because we use a place value system, which shows , 1 is 100, 2 is 20 and 3 is 3 as it stands in the ones place.
So, instead of writing 100+20+3, we write 123
Types of Number System:
a) Natural Numbers: Natural numbers are the numbers 1, 2, 3, ...
b) Integers: All natural numbers are integers including 0, -1, -2, ...
c) Rational numbers: These are fractions p/q where q is non-zero and p and q are both integer.
For example, all integers are rational (pick q =1).
Other examples of rational numbers are 3/2, -5/7, -1232321/74567467.
d) Real numbers: Real numbers are all numbers that can be written as a possibly never repeating decimal fraction.
e) Complex numbers: These are numbers in form of
z = a+ bi, where a and b are real numbers and i (called the imaginary unit)is the square root of negative 1, i.e.,
.
f) Algebraic numbers:These are complex numbers that can be obtained as the root of a polynomial with integer
coefficients. For example, rational numbers are algebraic, and so are roots of integers.
g) Transcendental numbers: These numbers are real numbers. For example e and π are transcendental (and real).
Properties of Numbers:
1) Associative Property:
In case of addition : a+(b+c)=(a+b)+c
In case of multiplication: a.(b.c)=(a.b).c
2) Commutative Property:
In case of addition : a+b=b+a
In case of multiplication: a.b=b.a
3) Inverse Property:
In case of addition : a+(-a)=0
In case of multiplication: a.(1/a)=1
4) Distributive Property:
a.(b+c)=a.b+a.c

In a combination reaction two or more substances are combined to form new substance while in the decomposition reaction one substance decomposes into two or more substances. Hence, the decomposition reactions are called opposite of combination reactions.
Decomposition reaction CaCO3 (s) ⇨ CaO (s) + CO2 (g)
Combination reaction H2 (g) + Cl2 ⇨ 2HCl (g)

Tea is the main beverage crop of India. Four geographical requirements for its growth are :
(a) The tea plant grows best in tropical and sub tropical climate.
(b) Tea bushes require warm and moist and frost free climate with temperature between 20°C to 30°C and annual rainfall of 150 to 250 cm.
(c) Frequent showers evenly distributed over the year ensure continuous growth of tender leaves.
(d) Deep, fertile, well-drained soil, rich in humus and organic matter are ideal for its growth.
Hence, gently rolling topography in uplands is favourable for its cultivation.

Structure of a Nephrons:
- Nephrons are the basic filtering units of kidneys.
- Each kidney possesses large number of nephrons, approximately 1-1.5 million.
- The main components of the nephron are glomerulus, Bowman’s capsule, and a long renal tubule.
Functioning of a Nephron:
- The blood enters the kidney through the renal artery, which branches into many capillaries associated with glomerulus.
- The water and solute are transferred to the nephron at Bowman’s capsule.
- In the proximal tubule, some substances such as amino acids, glucose, and salts are selectively reabsorbed and unwanted molecules are added in the urine.
- The filtrate then moves down into the loop of Henle, where more water is absorbed.
- From here, the filtrate moves upwards into the distal tubule and finally to the collecting duct. Collecting duct collects urine from many nephrons.
- The urine formed in each kidney enters a long tube called ureter. From ureter, it gets transported to the urinary bladder and then into the urethra.

x2 + bx +12=0.
2 is a root of the equation.
Then, 4+2b+12=0.
Then, 2b+16=0.
So, 2b= -16.
Therefore, b= -8.
x2+bx+q=0.
x2-8k+q=0.
Equal roots, so b2 =4ac.
64=4 × 1×q
q=16.

Developing countries are becoming a hub of MNCs because of the reason that these countries are most eager and are underway to develop and want to be on par with the developed countries. Thus these countries ease up their norms and regulations and try to attract these foreign companies to open up their business units in these developing nations. Thus, the profit and ease of doing business in these countries makes them a preferred location for MNCs. They Provide an inflow of capital into the developing country. E.g. the investment to build the factory is counted as a capital flow on the financial account of the balance of payments. This capital investment helps the economy develop and increase its productive capacity. The Harod Domar model of growth suggests that this level of investment is important for determining the level of economic growth.The inflows of capital help to finance a current account deficit. (foreign investment enables developing countries to buy imports).Multinational corporations provide employment. Although wages seem very low to us, people in developing countries often see these new jobs as preferable to working as a subsistence farmer with even lower income. Multinational firms may help improve infrastructure in the economy. They may improve the skills of their workforce. Foreign investment may stimulate spending in infrastructure such as roads and transport. Multinational firms help to diversify the economy away from relying on primary products and agriculture – which are often subject to volatile prices and supply.

Foreign trade provides opportunities for both producers and buyers to reach beyond the markets of their own countries. Goods travel from one country to another. Competition among producers of various countries as well as buyers prevails. Thus foreign trade leads to integration of markets across countries. For example, during Diwali season, buyers in India have the option of choosing between Indian and Chinese decorative lights and bulbs. So this provides an opportunity to expand business.

यह रोजगार की कमी के कारण है क्योंकि देश में सक्सेसर गवर्नमेंट ऐसा करने में विफल रही है।
