Lencho was angry after opening the letter because he found only seventy pesos inside the envelope. He had demanded a hundred pesos from God. Instead of getting angry on God, he got angry on the post office employees because he thought them to have misappropriated the money.

Lencho's house was situated on the crest of a low hill in the valley. The whole day he sat seeing the sky because he knew his fields needed downpour or at least a shower, so he was waiting to see the signs of rain.

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 4 months ago

postmaster collected the money from the other clerks of his office and friends and himself contributed a large part of his savings to help lencho and to prevent his faith from breaking in God. He was able to collect 70 pesos for lencho after all the attempts.

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 4 months ago

Lencho became angry when he counted the money in it.He thought God could not have made a mistake,nor could he deny the money requested by me As lencho asked for a 100 pesos for growing his field of corn back but he had only received 70 pesos.This made him angry.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 4 months ago

Lencho became angry when he received the letter because he was only given 70 pesos when he had asked for 100 pesos.

He thought that god would not deny him his wish and hence concluded that someone at the post office must have stolen the money before delivering it to him.

Because they are bispherical lenses, i.e they have two spherical sides (concave or canvex)

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 4 months ago

 lens is made up of two such transparent mirrors , hence when we consider its principle focus both of them are considered. also if the lens has only one focus then a ray diagram is not possible as when the incident ray is at infinity then the light rays cannot converge at the focus of the lens( which is before the lens or on its left side) as the lens undergoes refraction and not reflection.

In triangle ABO , AB is tangent and AO is the distance from the centre and OB is the radius . So, by Pythagoras theorem we can see that AO^2= AB^2 + BO^2 OB^2= √AO^2 - AB^2 = √26^2-24^2 =√676-576 =√100 =10 : Thus, radius of the circle is 10cm

Since, tangents drawn from an exterior point to a circle are equal in length.

∴ AP = AS    ...(i)
BP = BQ    ...(ii)
CR = CQ    ...(iii)
and DR = DS    ...(iv)
Adding (i), (ii), (iii) and (iv), we get
AP + BP + CR + DR = AS + BQ + CQ + DS
⇒ (AP + BP) + (CR + DR)
= (AS + DS) + (BQ + CQ)
⇒ AB + CD = AD + BC
Hence, AB + CD = BC + DA.

Six factors that would influence the meal planning of this family are:

Nutritional Adequacy The nutritional requirements of all the family members should be fulfilled.For instance, two children in Raghav’s family will need more protein.

Age and *** of the Family Members Dietary requirements of male adolescents and adult males are more than the female adolescents and adults.

Physical Activity The nutritional requirements are different depending on whether adults are sedentary, moderate or heavy workers. For instance, Raghav will be sedentary worker, Rahim is a heavy worker . Sunita is a heavy worker, being an athlete.

Economic Consideration Food items like full cream milk, cheese, meat, fruits,nuts etc. are expensive , which Raghav’s family can consume. Rahim’s family will prefer toned milk, seasonal and locally available fruits and vegetables, as they are less costly and at same time nutritious. In Sunita’s case , she will have to choose items suiting her aged parents, meaning that she will have to make meal which are soft and easily chewable, besides being easily digestible.

Time , Energy and Skills Meals can be elaborate with different dishes but the family can simplify them by cooking a simple but nutritious dish by combining all the ingredients.

Likes and Dislikes of Family Members  It is better to change the form of some particularly nutritious food items, rather than omitting it completely. For instance, if the children in Raghav’s family do not like milk, give it in the form of curd,paneer etc.

Let us assume that √5 is a rational number.

Sp it t can be expressed in the form p/q where p,q are co-prime integers and q≠0
⇒√5=p/q

On squaring both the sides we get,
⇒5=p²/q²
⇒5q²=p² —————–(i)

p²/5= q²

So 5 divides p
p is a multiple of 5
⇒p=5m
⇒p²=25m² ————-(ii)
From equations (i) and (ii), we get,
5q²=25m²
⇒q²=5m²
⇒q² is a multiple of 5
⇒q is a multiple of 5
Hence, p,q have a common factor 5. This contradicts our assumption that they are co-primes. Therefore, p/q is not a rational number

√5 is an irrational number

The first 3-digit number which is divisible by 7 is 105

The last 3-digit number which is divisible by 7 is 994

The list of 3-digit numbers divisible by 7 are

105, 112, 119,…..994 which forms an A.P

Consider a formula

T(n) = a + (n – 1)d

Where

a = 105

d = 7

T(n) = 994

994 = 105 + (n – 1)7

889 = 7n – 7

7n = 896

n = 128

∴ There are 128 3-digits number which are divisible by 7.

Samarth Tembhurnikar 5 years, 4 months ago

AP 105,112........994 A=105 d=7 an=994 n=? An= a+(n-1) D N=128 There are 128 no.

let the required term be nth term
54th term = a +(n-1)d
 = 3 + 53x12 = 3 + 636 = 639
therefore 132 + 639 = 771 will be the nth term.
771 = 3 + (n-1)12
768/12 +1 = n
therefore n = 64 +1 = 65
therefore the 65th term will be 132 more than the 54th term

In the 1800s, nationalist feelings were strong in the hearts of the middle-class Germans. They united in 1848 to create a nation-state out of the numerous German States. But the monarchy and the military got together to repress them and they gained support from the landowners of Prussia (the Junkers) too. Prussia soon became the leader of the German unification movement. Its Chief Minister Otto von Bismarck was the architect of the process with support from Prussian army and Prussian bureaucracy. The unification process was completed after Prussia won wars with Austria, Denmark, and France over seven years time. In January 1871, the Prussian king, William I, was proclaimed the German Emperor in a ceremony held at Versailles.
