The French revolution took place in the year 1789.

The introduction of liberal ideas of change affected many nations in various ways. In Europe, the French revolution directed a series of wars between several nations and the French because of the rise of the French army leader Napoleon Bonaparte. For instance, Europe was wracked by two decades of conflict rotating around France's attempts to expand its revolutionary goals, and the resistance of conservative authority, led by Austria and Britain. And a war broke out at the time when Prussia and Austria invaded France.

(iii) The Government of India has removed barriers or restrictions to trade set earlier. This step, called liberalisaHon, ha enabled goods and services to be exported and imported easily.
Multinationals lave been allowed to set-up factories and offices in India. Due to this, there is greater integration of poduction and markets across countries.

Globalisation in today’s world has come to imply many things. It is the process by which the people of the world are unified into a single society and function together. This term is also often used to refer to economic globalisation: the integration of national economies into the international economy through trade, foreign direct investments, capital flows, migration and the spread of technology.

A circuit is said to be connected in series when the same current flows through all the components in the circuit. In such circuits, the current has only one path. Let us consider the household decorative string lights as an example of a series circuit. This is nothing but a series of multiple tiny bulbs connected in series. If one bulb fuses, all the bulbs in series do not light up. If Vt is the total voltage then it is equal to V1+V2+V3

A circuit is said to be parallel when the electric current has multiple paths to flow through. The components that are a part of the parallel circuits will have a constant voltage across all ends. If Vt is the total voltage then it is equal to V1=V2=V3

Relational DataBase Management System (rdbms)
RDBMS is a type of DataBase Management System that stores data in the form of relations (tables). Relational databases are powerful, so they require few assumptions about how data is related or how, it will be extracted from the database.
An important feature of relational database system is that a single database can be spread across several tables. Base, Oracle, DB2, SAP, Sybase, ASE, Informix, Access etc. are the examples of RDBMS.

The Analytical Writing measure tests your critical thinking and analytical writing skills. It assesses your ability to articulate and support complex ideas, construct and evaluate arguments, and sustain a focused and coherent discussion. It does not assess specific content knowledge.

The Analytical Writing measure consists of two separately timed analytical writing tasks:

  • a 30-minute "Analyze an Issue" task
  • a 30-minute "Analyze an Argument" task

The Issue task presents an opinion on an issue of general interest followed by specific instructions on how to respond to that issue. You are required to evaluate the issue, consider its complexities and develop an argument with reasons and examples to support your views.

The Argument task requires you to evaluate a given argument according to specific instructions. You will need to consider the logical soundness of the argument rather than agree or disagree with the position it presents.

The two tasks are complementary in that one requires you to construct your own argument by taking a position and providing evidence supporting your views on an issue, and the other requires you to evaluate someone else's argument by assessing its claims and evaluating the evidence it provides.

Individuals taking the computer-delivered test will use a basic word processor developed by ETS. The basic word processor contains the following functionalities: insert text, delete text, cut-and-paste and undo the previous action. Tools such as a spell checker and grammar checker are not available in the ETS software, largely to maintain fairness for those examinees who must handwrite their essays at paper-delivered administrations.
