Take copper sulphate in a test tube and place a silver few granules in it... this show silver is less reactive than copper.

Shubham Saxena ???? 5 years, 3 months ago

Ok thanks for answering. Good answer.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 3 months ago

Silver is chemically less reactive than copper can be shown by displacement reaction. If a piece of silver is placed in a solution of CuSO4 no reaction will take place as Ag is less reactive than Cu and can't replace Cu from CuSO4 solution. ... This shows Ag is chemically less reactive than copper.

Plants have two different types of 'transport' tissue. Xylem transports water and solutes from the roots to the leaves, phloem transports food from the leaves to the rest of the plant.

Plants use two different strategies; transpirational pull and root pressure for the transportation of water and minerals during day and night.

Root Pressure is the positive pressure created by the movement of water from the roots to the soil for upward movement of water. The effect of root pressure in the transport of water is more important at night.

Transpiration pull is the pull of water as a result of tension created by transpiration in the aerial parts of the plant. It is the major driving force of water movement upwards in a plant during the day. Transpiration is the process by which water evaporates from the leaves, which results in more water being drawn up from the roots.

Gold and silver

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 3 months ago

Gold and silver are two metals which do not react with water at all, because gold and silver are least reactive. So, they are used in ornaments and to prepare coins, etc.

Satyam Lodhi Rajput 5 years, 3 months ago

Strong acid for example, are best stored in PMP or HDPE container this is partly because these plastics are chemically inert and so won't react with the substance. For this reason it is not suitable to store certain chemicals in metal container as they are likely to corrode.

Guddy Kirola 5 years, 3 months ago

Bcoz acid react with metals For example If u will keep onion in aluminum foil so it will react and makes an unpleasant smell
