The copying of DNA during reproduction is important because:
- The replication of DNA ensures that each daughter cell formed at the end of cell division, receives equal amount of DNA.
- If DNA won't be copied then the daughter cells won't receive all necessary genes.
- There may be absence of important proteins which are encoded by DNA, if DNA won't be replicated.
- Copying of DNA may result in recombination which will lead to evolution.
- Transfer of genetic material from one generation to other makes the organisms to have similar functions.
- Stability of population is maintained.

Resistance is directly proportional to area and inversely proportional to length.
Hence if we increase resistance we get increased area and decreased length and vice - versa.
Also Resistivity wont change if the length and area is changed. It remains constant for all values for a given material.
So,
Let the original length be = x
Let the original area be = y
Resistivity = k ( Constant )
So Resistance = ky / x -----( Equation 1 )
Now given that length is halved and area is doubled. Then we get,
Length = x / 2
Area = 2y
Resistivity = k ( Constant )
Now Resistance = k * 2y / x / 2
= 2 ky * 2 / x
= 4 ky / x -----( Equation 2 )
Now comparing Equation 1 and 2 we get that,
Resistance has become 4 times after modifications.
Hence Resistance will become 4 times in the new condition, if the area is doubled and length is halved.

Yarn is an unprocessed product, and thus it has a lower value.it is used as a raw material in textile industries/weaving to produce fabric(cloth), after which it can be sold for a much higher value.if we export yarn in large quantities, the profit gained is low, and the whole process would employ less people, but if the weaving sector is developed, the yarn can be used in indigenous industries, which would employ more people and generate higher profit. thereby, becoming a more favourable option as compared to just exporting it.

FAIR globalisation would create opportunities for all and also ensure that the benefits of globalisation are shared better.
- The government can play a major role in making this possible.
- Its policies must protect the interests not only of the rich and the powerful but of all the people in the country.
- The government can ensure that labour laws are properly implemented and the workers get their rights.
- It can support small producers to improve their performance till the time they become strong enough to compete.
- If necessary, the government can use trade and investment barriers.
- Government can negotiate at the W.T.O. for fairer rules.
- It can also align with other developing countries with similar interests to fight against the domination of developed countries in the W.T.O.

1. After the trade, goods travel between countries and goes beyond the domestic market.
2. The choices of good increases for the people and the price of similar goods usually become equal.
3. Producers who produce similar goods start to compete even though there is a huge distance between them.

In the recent years, the Indian Government has taken special steps to attract foreign companies to invest in India:
(i) The government has set up industrial zones called special Economic Zones (SEZs). SEZs provide world class facilities – electricity, water, roads, transport,storage recreational and educational facilities.
(ii) Companies who set up production units in the SEZs do not have to pay taxes for an initial period of five years.
(iii) The government has also allowed flexibility in the labour laws to attract foreign investment. The companies can now lower workers ‘flexibly’ for short period when there is intense pressure of work. This is done to reduce the cost of labour for the companies.

(ii) It has enabled to contact one another around the world, to access information instantly, and to communicate from remote areas.
(iii) Internet has allowed to send instant electronic mail and talk across the world at negligible costs.

Pure acids in the liquid state are exceedingly poor conductors of electricity. The fact that aqueous solutions of acids conduct electricity is definite evidence of the existence of ions in these solutions. Acids undergo dissociation in aqueous solution to form H+ ions.
When electricity is passed through an aqueous solution of an acid, the H+ ions reach the cathode and each H+ ion picks up one electron from the cathode to form H2 gas. Because of this reaction, an aqueous solution of acid conducts electricity.

1. Apply the question to yourself
This is the best way to solve blood relation questions. Here you try and relate every statement to yourself. The starting name of the statement could be assumed as your name or you

2. Break the question into very small parts
When the statement is very long, it can get confusing. So break down every statement in the question into sub statements and solve the question.
3. Do not assume the gender
Do not assume the gender of any person in the question just based on the names given in the question.
4. Draw clear diagrams as you solve
An easy trick to solve such questions with 100% accuracy is to draw a family try where people of the same generation are placed at the same level and the entire diagram is in the form of a hierarchy.
| Indicate + for Male candidate Indicate – for Female candidate Indicate <=> for Couple Indicate - - - - for Same Generation like brother - - - brother (or) sister - - - sister (or) sister - - -brother Indicate–––––for Different generations like father–––––son (or) mother––––son (or) father––––daughter (or) Mother ––––– daughter |
