(i) Gandhiji called for a country wide Hartal on 6th April, 1919. But he was arrested.
(ii) There were disturbances in Delhi, Ahmedabad and Punjab. In Amritsar, two popular leaders, Dr. Satyapal and Dr. Saif- ud-din Kitchlew, were arrested. The people took out a procession in Amritsar to protest against these arrests, and demanded the release of their leaders.
(iii) A public meeting was announced for the 13th April, 1919, at the Jallianwala Bagh, Amritsar against the arrest of the leaders.
(iv) General Dyer marched there and killed more than 1,000 people.
(v) As the news of the Jallianwalla Bagh spread, crowds took to the streets in many North Indian towns. There were strikes, clashes with the police and attacks on government buildings.

Let
first number = x
since this no are consecutive so
second number = x+1
now according to question
x (x+1) = 110
x² + x = 110
x² + x - 110 = 0
by using factorization method
x² + 11x - 10x -110 = 0
x(x+11) -10(x+10) = 0
(x+11) (x-10) = 0
∵ x = -11 and x = 10
The two numbers would be 10 and 11.
10 x 11 = 110
10 + 11 = 21

(ii) Mini steel plant use steel scrap and sponge iron while Integrated steel plant use basic raw materials ie iron ore for making steel.

Geothermal energy is the thermal energy generated and stored inside the Earth’s crust. The center of the Earth remains at the same temperature as the Sun which is nearly constant due to the continuous process of nuclear fusion. Due to such high temperature and pressure some rocks melt, which results in the upward motion of the mantle (as they become lighter with the heat). These molten rocks formed in the Earth’s crust are pushed upward where they get trapped in certain regions called ‘hot spots’. When underground water comes in contact with the hot spot, steam is generated. Sometimes this hot water formed region finds outlets at the surface. When this hot water gushes out of one of these outlets, it is called hot springs.

a) the length of the broken part can be figured out by the pythagoras theoram-
so, suppose the length of the broken part is x
15 square +20 square = x square
= 225 + 400 = x square
thus, x square = 625
hence, x= sqrt of 625
therefore x= 25m
b) the heinght of the full tree is 15+ 25= 40m
c) the length of the hypotenuse is 25m
d) the area of the triangle= (15*20)/4 = 300/4 = 75m sq.

Bill told the lawyer that Lutkins was a hard fellow to catch and he was good at deceiving people. He was always up to something or the other. He also said that Oliver played a lot of poker. Considering that the lawyer had come to collect some money from Lutkins, he informed him that Lutkins owed money to many people but he had never even paid anybody a cent.

The lawyer served as a junior assistant clerk in a magnificent law firm. He was sent to New Mullion to serve summons on Oliver Lutkins, who was needed as a witness in a law case.
He was frustrated by the routine life of the city. As new Mullion was located forty miles in the country, he expected New Mullion to be a sweet and simple country village.

इस कविता का मूल भाव यह है कि जीवन एक संघर्ष के समान है, जिसे कवि अग्निपथ मानता है। इस मार्ग पर आत्मविश्वास के साथ मनुष्य को आगे बढ़ना है। किसी के सहारे की इच्छा नहीं करनी चाहिए। इस मार्ग पर कदम-कदम पर चुनौतियों और कष्टों से सामना होता है। मनुष्य को चाहिए कि वह इन चुनौतियों से न घबराए। कष्टों से विचलित नहीं होते हुए भी अपने पुरुषार्थ पर भरोसा करते हुए अपने लक्ष्य की ओर बढ़ता रहे। उसकी क्रिया में गतिशीलता होनी चाहिए जिसमें रचने, थकने या पीछे मुड़कर देखने का कोई स्थान नहीं होना चाहिए। इस मार्ग पर चलते हुए आँसू, पसीना बहाकर तथा खून से लथपथ होकर भी उसे निरंतर संघर्ष करते रहना चाहिए क्योंकि जो व्यक्ति संघर्ष से पीछे नहीं हटता वहीं जीवन में सफलता प्राप्त करता है।
