Renal artery carries mineral rich, oxygenated blood from the heart to the kidneys for nutrition and cellular respiration.
Renal veins carry deoxygenated blood after waste products have been removed via glomerular filtration back from the kidneys to the heart.

The one significant way in which Indian secularism differs from the dominant understanding of secularism as practised in USA This is because unlike the strict separation between religion and the State in American secularism, in Indian secularism the State can intervene in religious affairs,. For example the Indian Constitution intervened in Hindu religious practises in order to abolish untouchability. In Indian secularism, though the state is not strictly separate from religion it does maintain a principled distance vis-a-vis religion.

There were many reasons. Some are:
1)The sepoys were paid much less than the British soldiers. They were also treated unfairly by the British officers.
2) All high posts in the army were reserved for the British. Hence, the scope of promotion was very limited for a sepoy.
3) The sepoys were not allowed to wear caste and religious marks.
4) An act was passed that required the new recruits to travel overseas, if needed. The Hindu sepoys believed that travelling across the sea led to loss of caste.

By 'Fables of prophets' Khushwant Singh means the stories that the grandmother used to narrate to him or his cousins in her childhood. The author believed the personal anecdotes that the grandmother would tell him or his cousins appeared to be similar to the the other stories she would tell them in their childhood.

The poet, Stephen Spender wants the life of the slum children be changed. He wants their poverty to end. He wishes them to live in healthier, hygienic and beautiful environment. He wants their future to be bright and full of hope.
According to the poet, their lives can only be changed if governor, teacher, inspector, visitor, and people do more to help them. Mere paltry donations won't solve their problems of poverty, illiteracy, and backwardness. The rich people and the government will have to do more for them.
