Traditionally, four types of restriction enzymes are recognized, designated I, II, III, and IV, which differ primarily in structure, cleavage site, specificity, and cofactors. Restriction enzymes that bind several sites in order to cleave exhibit several characteristics: Cleavage kinetics. Substrates with single sites are cleaved slowly and in some cases incompletely because enzymes must interact with ('bridge') two or more DNA molecules at once.

AA (or AAA) or Angle-Angle Similarity
If any two angles of a triangle are equal to any two angles of another triangle, then the two triangles are similar to each other.
From the figure given above, if ∠ A = ∠X and ∠C = ∠Z then ΔABC ~ΔXYZ.
From the result obtained, we can easily say that,
AB/XY = BC/YZ = AC/XZ
and ∠B = ∠Y

Boyle’s Law
- Boyle’s law was stated by Robert Boyle.
- It states that at constanttemperature, the pressure of a fixednumber of moles nof gasvaries inversely with its volume.

k1 = Proportionality constant.
- It depends upon the amount and temperature of gas. It also depends upon the units in which p as well v are expressed.
- Let volume V1 is occupied at pressure P1 and temperature T1.
- Again volume V2 is occupied at pressure P2 and temperature T2. Mathematically, as per Boyle’s law:
P1 V1= P2 V2 = Constant
P1/P2 = V2/V1

- The curve corresponding to differentconstant temperature is calledisotherm.
- Highercurves correspond to higher temperature.

- The graph represents a straight line passing through the But under high pressures gases
deviate from Boyle’s law and consequently there is no straight line in the graph. - This signifies that gases become denser at high pressure.
- Density is defined as the ratio of mass by volume. Desity = Mass/ Volume = m/v
- Using the value of v from Boyle’s law equation, value of d can be further modified as

Franz entered the school. He noticed many unusual things in the school. It was all so still, calm and quiet like Sunday morning. The whole school looked strange and solemn. There was no hustle and bustle. The rapping of the teacher’s ruler on the table was not heard. The voice of the students repeating the lessons and the opening and closing of the desks was not heard. It was quite unusual and surprising.

The young trees are personified in the poem. They seem to be running in the opposite direction when seen through the window of the moving car. The movement is juxtaposed with the expression on the mother’s face i.e. ashen like a corpse. The movement of the children and the trees is in stark contrast with the stillness associated with the mother.

Franz was a student in one of the schools in the districts of Alsace. Having a poor family set up, the boy was often asked to work in some mill for earning some money. But the family could not pay due attention towards his education, so the boy loved outside environment and wanted to enjoy it. In the school too, he often loved to work in the garden. He became fond of shirking from work and used to put off his learning as well as home task. But he was much scared of his teacher M. Hamel.
In addition to this, the boy had an acute sense of understanding, feeling, recognition and respect. Entering the school, he sensed unusualness and calmness there. He was much surprised at this and was rather troubled to know that his teacher was leaving them because of an order from Berlin had banned the teaching of French. During the writing period, he noticed sad expressions over the face of M. Hamel. When the teacher taught a lesson in grammar, it left an indelible impression on the boy. He felt that the teacher was going to pour everything in their minds. Then the teacher wrote on the blackboard ‘Long Live France’. The boy was deeply moved and he recognised his teacher for his worth. Thus Franz had all the senses of head and heart.

In the beginning, M. Hamel emerges as a very strict teacher who always keeps a ruler in his hand. Apparently, it appears that M. Hamel does not understand the tender feelings of his students. He seems to be a typically hard task-master. But when he teaches his last lesson, the sensitive and thought-provoking teacher within him comes out. He is a great patriot and wants his students and countrymen to be proud of their nation and language. He exhorts them to come forward and to keep their language and culture intact and alive. M. Hamel is a very patient fellow. He teaches even his last lesson with great patience. To sum up, M. Hamel is a perfect teacher.
