Shooting stars are also known as falling stars but they are not related to stars. A shooting star is a small piece of rock or dust that travels through the earth’s atmosphere. These are known as meteoroids.They glow is because of the speed at which they move through the atmosphere. Meteor is the trail of light that is produced during the burning. There are millions of such particles that cross over the earth’s atmosphere, but only a few collide with the earth’s atmosphere making them glow and burn down.

The values of k = 4.
Given:
Quadratic equation has equal roots.
To find:
The values of k
Explanation:
General format of quadratic equation is .
If the roots of quadratic equation is equal then,
Where,
a = coefficient of x²
b = coefficient of x
c = constant term.
b² - 4ac =0
Comparing the quadratic equation
b = k a=2 c=2
k² - 4×2×2 = 0
k² = 16
k =
k = 4
Therefore, the values of k = 4 if roots are equal.

Anss: Decentralisation explains the manner in which decision making responsibilities are divided among hierarchical levels.
Decentralisation is extending delegation to the lowest level. Decentralisation explains the manner in which decision making responsibilities are divided among hierarchical levels. Decentralisation refers to delegation of authority throughout all the levels of the organisation. Decision making authority is shared with lower levels and is consequently placed nearest to the point of action. In other words, decision making authority is pushed down the chain of command. Delegation is the process and decentralisation is the end result, e.g., If the director give the responsibility to production head to complete the target of 20,000 units and authorise him to hire the workers, production head further shares his responsibility with manager to select the worker. Manager shares his responsibility with supervisors, who are dealing with workers, authorise him to select workers. Here, the responsibility distributed at every level. That’s why we say systematic delegation leads to decentralisation.

The functions political parties perform in a democracy are:
1) Candidates are put forward by parties to contest in elections. These candidates may be chosen by the members of the party or by the leaders of the party.
2) Parties put forward different policies and programmes and the voters choose from them.
3) Parties play an important role in making laws for a country. Laws are usually debated and passed in the legislature.
4) Parties form and run governments. They recruit leaders and train them to be ministers and run the government in the way they want it.
5) Parties that lose the election form the opposition. The opposition voices different views and criticize the failures of the government.
6) Parties shape public opinion. They have lakhs of members all over the country, and they play a great role in influencing the way people think.
7) Parties provide the common man access to government machinery and welfare schemes. It is easier for a person to meet a local party leader than a government official.

Molarity = Number of moles of solute per litre of solution in molar concentration
M = no of moles / volume
Mole = mass/molar mass = 1000/18= 55.56 mol
1l of water = 1000mL = 1Kg
Density = 1000kg/m3
therefore Molarity = 55.56mol/1L = 55.56mol/L

Given,
Mass of solute, glucose = 36 g
Mass of solvent, water = 250 g
Molar mass of glucose = 180 g/mole
Molality : It is defined as the number of moles of solute present in the one kilogram of solvent.
Formula used :
where,
= mass of solute, glucose
= mass of solvent, water
= molar mass of solute, glucose
Now put all the given values in the above formula, we get
Therefore, the molality of solution is, 0.8 mole/Kg

The brain and spinal cord are connected to every cell, tissue and organ via our spinal nerve system, and the purpose of the brain and nervous system is to control, coordinate, and to adapt the body to its environment. This is why it is called the master control system. An organ system is a group of organs that work together to perform a certain function in an organism's body. An example of an organ system is the circulatory system, which includes the heart, arteries, veins, and capillaries.

Peripheral structures may include skeletal muscles and neural connections with muscle tissues.

Normality in chemistry is one of the expressions used to measure the concentration of a solution. It is abbreviated as ‘N’ and is sometimes referred to as the equivalent concentration of a solution. It is mainly used as a measure of reactive species in a solution and during titration reactions or particularly in situations involving acid-base chemistry.
As per the standard definition, normality is described as the number of gram or mole equivalents of solute present in one litre of a solution. When we say equivalent, it is the number of moles of reactive units in a compound.

Mass per cent is a way of expressing a concentration or describing the component in a particular mixture. The solution composition can be described in mass percentage which shows the mass of solute present in a given mass of solution. The quantity of solute is expressed in mass or by moles. For a solution, the mass per cent is described as the grams of solute per grams of solution, multiplied by 100 to get the percentage.
Mass per cent Formula
The Mass per cent formula is expressed as solving for the molar mass also for the mass of each element in 1 mole of the compound. You can determine the mass percentage of each element with these masses.
