Rewrite the equation as:
(x + 1)(x + 4)(x + 3)(x + 2) = 120
Multiply the first 2 and last 2 expressions:
{tex}(x^2 + 5x + 4)(x^2 + 5x + 6) = 120{/tex} ..... (1)
Let {tex}x^2 + 5x = y{/tex}
(1) becomes,
(y + 4)(y + 6) = 120
y2 + 10x + 24 = 120
y2 + 10x - 96 = 0
y2 + 16x - 6y - 96 = 0
y(y + 16) - 6(y + 16) = 0
(y + 16)(y - 6) = 0
y = -16 or 6
y2+ 5x = 16 or 6
When x2 + 5x = 6
x2 + 5x - 6 = 0
x2 + 6x - x - 6 = 0
x(x + 6) - 1(x + 6) = 0
(x + 6)(x - 1) = 0
x = -6, 1
When x^2 + 5x = -16
x^2 + 5x + 16 = 0
Using quadratic formula:
{tex}x = [-5 +/- sqrt (25 - 64)]/2{/tex}
The solutions are, -6, 1, [-5 - sqrt (25 - 64)]/2 and [-5 + sqrt (25 - 64)]/2
These are all the possible solutions. But the only real solutions are -6 and 1.

It is basically an applied case of projectile motion. When a body is thrown, the force is applied tangentially to the curve of the earth but the motion of the object is in a parabolic form due to the action of gravity. The moon revolves around the earth in a similar way but due to the velocity with which the moon got hooked onto the earth’s gravity keeps it from falling onto the earth. This keeps the moon in a pretentious orbit around the earth even though it is moving further away from our planet by an ever so little margin.

The Himalayas were formed as a result of the collision between the Indian Plate and Eurasian Plate. Read the description given below:
- Because of the impact of convectional currents, the crust was split into many pieces. The Indo–Australian plate got separated from the Gondwanaland and drifted towards the north.
- As it drifted towards the north, it collided with the Eurasian plate. As a result of this collision, the sedimentary rocks which were settled in the large-scale depression in the Earth’s crust called Tethys were folded and formed the Himalayas.

The declining share of agriculture in GDP become a serious concern for India because:
- Reduction of import duties on agricultural product.
- Subsidy on fertilizers has decreased, leading to a rise in cost of production.
- Indian farmers are facing challenge from International competitions.
- Government is reducing investment in agricultural sectors, especially the irrigation sector.
