Homologous chromosomes are the chromosomes which are similar but not identical. These are similar in length, gene position and centromere location. The stage in which paired homologous chromosomes get shortened and thickened is diplotene stage of Prophase1 of Meiosis
1. The homologous chromosomes undergo genetic recombination. The chromosomes reduce to homologous chromosomes in meiosis 1 and then to sister chromatids in meiosis
2. The homologous chromosomes first exchange their DNA in next phase they orient themselves randomly at the equator. Reduction division of homologus chromosomes takes place in meiosis.

लेखक बालकृष्ण के मुंह पर छाई गोधूलि को श्रेष्ठ इसलिए मानता है कि जिस प्रकार फूल के ऊपर धूल के महीन कण शोभा पाते हैं, उसी प्रकार से बालकृष्ण के मुंह पर छाई हुई गोधूलि उनके मुख की शोभा को और अधिक खूबसूरत बना देती है। उनके मुख की ऐसी कांति आज के युग में प्रचलित प्रसाधन सामग्री के उपयोग से नहीं आ सकती। गोधूलि की सहजता ने बाल कृष्ण के मधुर रुप को और भी अधिक सुंदर बना दिया है ।

- There are three stages of interphase: G1 (first gap), S (synthesis of new DNA ), and G2 (second gap).
- Cells spend most of their lives in interphase, specifically in the S phase where genetic material must be copied.
- The cell grows and carries out biochemical functions, such as protein synthesis, in the G1 phase.
- During the S phase, DNA is duplicated into two sister chromatids, and centrosomes, which give rise to the mitotic spindle, are also replicated.
- In the G2 phase, energy is replenished, new proteins are synthesized, the cytoskeleton is dismantled, and additional growth occurs.

Inserting the Date in a Header or Footer
- Choose Header and Footer from the View menu. Word displays the Header and Footer toolbar.
- Position the insertion point within the header or footer at the place you want the date to appear.
- Click on the Insert Date tool on the Header and Footer toolbar. Word inserts today's date.
- Click on Close.

A trophic level is the group of organisms within an ecosystem which occupy the same level in a food chain. There are five main trophic levels within a food chain, each of which differs in its nutritional relationship with the primary energy source. The primary energy source in any ecosystem is the Sun (although there are exceptions in deep sea ecosystems).

- Food web is a network of food chains where all the chains are naturally interconnected.
- Each organism is generally eaten by two or more kinds or organisms which are again eaten by several other organisms and so instead of straight line food chain, the series of organisms dependent on one another food can be shown by branched lines which is called as a food web.
- Flow of energy in a food chain is unidirectional, once it reaches the next tropic level it does not come back again.
- For example- energy which passes to the herbivores does not come back again to autotrophs.
