Vijay bought vegetables weighing 10kg.
Out of this 3kg 200g onions , 2kg 300g tomatoes and the rest is potatoes.
The weight of potatoes = 10 kg - ( 3.200 + 2.300)
= 10.000 - 5.500
= 4.500
= 4 kg 500 g

here A peice of iron is coated with liquid zinc
to get prevention from rusting
here X is liquid zinc and process is known as Galvanisation

कवयित्री साँसों की (कच्चे धागे की) रस्सी से जीवन रूपी नौका को खींच रही है। संसार उतार-चढ़ाव भरा सागर है और साँसों की निश्चितता संदिग्ध है। जीवन में अगले पल या साँस पर विश्वास नहीं किया जा सकता है। अतः जो लक्ष्य है उसके लिए तुरन्त तत्पर हो जाना चाहिए।

एक दिन महादेवी वर्मा “नखासकोने” से निकली तो बड़े मियाँ ने उन्हें एक मोरनी के बारे में बताया जिसका पाँव घायल था। लेखिका उसे सात रूपये में खरीदकर अपने घर ले आयीं और उसकी देख-भाल की। वह कुछ ही दिनों में स्वस्थ हो गयी। उसका नाम कुब्जा रखा गया। वह स्वभाव से मेल-मिलाप वाली न थी।

Three dimensions of equality are: Economic, Social and Political Equality.
Political equality means granting equal citizenship to all members of the state. equal citizenship provides certain basic rights such as right to vote, freedom of expression, movement and association and freedom of belief to everybody. They can participate in the affairs of the country.
Social equality means provision of equality in society. Equality of oppurtunites need to be provided so that minimum quality of life can be achieved.
Economic equality means granting equal economic oppurtunities to all.

Accommodation in Belgium
In Belgium, the government handled the community difference very well. Between 1970 and 1993, Belgian leaders amended their constitution four times and came up with a new model to run the government.
Here are some of the elements of the Belgian model.
- The Constitution prescribes that the number of Dutch and French-speaking ministers shall be equal in the Central Government. Some special laws require the support of the majority of members from each linguistic group. Thus, no single community can make decisions unilaterally.
- The state governments are not subordinate to the Central Government.
- Brussels has a separate government in which both communities have equal representation.
- Apart from the Central and the State Government, there is a third kind of government. This ‘community government’ is elected by people belonging to one language community – Dutch, French and German-speaking – no matter where they live. This government has the power regarding cultural, educational and language-related issues.
Majoritarianism in Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka emerged as an independent country in 1948. The Sinhala community was in the majority so they had formed the government. They also followed preferential policies that favoured Sinhala applicants for university positions and government jobs. These measures taken by the government gradually increased the feeling of alienation among the Sri Lankan Tamils. Sri Lankan Tamils felt that constitution and government policies denied them equal political rights, discriminated against them in getting jobs and other opportunities and ignored their interests. Due to this, the relationship between the Sinhala and Tamil communities become poor. Sri Lankan Tamils launched parties and struggles for the recognition of Tamil as an official language, for regional autonomy and equality of opportunity in securing education and jobs. But their demand was repeatedly denied by the government. The distrust between the two communities turned into widespread conflict and turned into a CIVIL WAR. As a result, thousands of people of both the communities have been killed. Many families were forced to leave the country as refugees and many more lost their livelihoods. The civil war ended in 2009 and caused a terrible setback to the social, cultural and economic life of the country

In converting decimals to fractions, we know that a decimal can always be converted into a fraction by using the following steps:
Step I: Obtain the decimal.
Step II: Remove the decimal points from the given decimal and take as numerator.
Step III: At the same time write in the denominator, as many zero or zeros to the right of 1(one) (For example 10, 100 or 1000 etc.) as there are number of digit or digits in the decimal part. And then simplify it.
For example:
(i) {tex}124.6 = (\frac{1246}{10}){/tex}
(ii) {tex}12.46 = (\frac{1246}{100}){/tex}
(iii) {tex}1.246 = (\frac{1246}{1000}){/tex}
