Highlights for CBSE Board Exam 2010
CBSE Board exams are going to start from 3rd March 2010. Total 1601646 students are registered this year in class 10 and class 12 for March 2010 CBSE Board exams. This number has increased by approx 9% this year in comparison to last year.
This year the total number of special category students is 1891 in class X and 1309 in class 12. It is a bit lesser than that of previous year.
CBSE Prepared for Smooth Conduct and Evaluation of Board Exams 2010
CBSE has announced the dates and rules for Board Exams 2010. Following details are useful:

1. Preparations for smooth conduct of Board Exams 2010
(i) The sealed question paper packets will be opened in the presence of at least four Asstt. Superintendents-one of them would be from the school other than the examination centre as a witness.
(ii) The center material has been dispatched to all the CBSE Board Exams 2010 centers.

New Revised CBSE Sample Question Papers for 2010 Exams

Important Information Regarding 2010 Examinations
CBSE has introduced two new courses in class 12 this year. Class XII Student will appear for the first time in Graphics Design Course (Code NO – 71) and Heritage Crafts (Code no 70). Sample Question papers in both the subjects have been posted on the Board’s website www.cbse.nic.in.
The scheme of making CBSE Board exam optional in class 10 is not applicable in March 2010 examinations. All students of Class X in the current academic year (2009-2010) will be taking the CBSE Board’s Class X 2010 Examination.
Admit Cards For Class X-XII Examinations Under Delhi Region
Heads of all the schools affiliated with the CBSE under Delhi Region may collect the Admit Cards for class X & XII examination 2010 from the Regional Office, Delhi during working hours.
Intimation letters to all the private candidates appearing for class X & XII examination 2010 have been sent. Private candidates may collect admit card from the examination centre mentioned in their intimation letter.

Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi has issued a notification regarding extension of last date for submission of forms and fee for the candidates appearing under compartment, improvement and additional subject categories for March 2010 examinations.
It has been decided that the request of the candidates seeking permission for appearing in the ensuing Board’s Examinations-2010 under compartment, improvement and additional subject categories received upto 15th December 2009 may be accepted. Now students can submit their form and fee upto 15th December 2009.
