लेखक जब सेंकड क्लास के डिब्बे में चढ़े, तो उन्होंने एक बर्थ पर नवाबी अंदाज़ में एक सफेदपोश सज्जन को पालथी मारे बैठे देखा। उनके आगे दो चिकने खीरे रखे हुए थे। लेखक का सहसा डिब्बे में प्रवेश कर जाना नवाब साहब को अच्छा नहीं लगी। उन्होंने लेखक के प्रति कोई रुचि नहीं दिखाई। लेखक ने भी उनका परिचय प्राप्त करने का प्रयास नहीं किया। क्योंकि उन्हें यह लगा कि नवाब साहब शायद अकेले ही सफर करना चाहते थे और न ही यह चाहते थे कि कोई उन्हें सेंकड क्लास में सफर करते देखे। ऐसी स्थिति में उन्हें खीरा खाने में भी संकोच का अनुभव हो रहा होगा। अचानक नवाब साहब ने लेखक को खीरे का शौक फरमाने को कहा। लेखक को नवाब साहब का यह सहसा भाव परिवर्तन अच्छा नहीं लगा क्योंकि वे शायद अपना नवाबी सभ्य व्यवहार दर्शाना चाहते थे। जबकि वास्तविकता में उनका यह व्यवहार नवाबी संस्कृति का दिखावटीपन ओढ़े हुए था।

Internet has further facilitated sharing of knowledge available abundantly on all the subjects. School websites now provide all the educational information required by parents and students. Aspiring students can look up the internet for any information and knowledge they require while studying or doing assignments. Internet and computers have really made education quite romantic. HRD Minister Ramesh Nishank announced a major CBSE syllabus reduction for the new academic year 2020-21 on July 7 which was soon followed by an official notification by CBSE on the same.

Considering the loss of classroom teaching time due to the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown, CBSE reduced the syllabus of classes 9 to 12 with the help of suggestions from NCERT.

The CBSE syllabus has been rationalized keeping intact the learning outcomes so that the core concepts of students can be retained.

Economic growth and development is less in Democracies because:

a. Democratic form of governments are characterized by political instability, if the government loses majority it may fall and may not be able to complete its full term. A dictatorial regime is stable.

b. Likewise, government changes after certain period of time, there is no continuy in economic policies governing the country. A dictatorial regime may follow one policy for a longer period of time.

c. Democracy involves thorough deliberation and discussion, which results in delays in decision making process. There is only one person who takes decision for the entire country. It results in quick decision making.

d. There are large number of people involved in the decision making process as a result it becomes difficult to accommodate diverse interests and viewpoints. 

e. Democracies involve corruption, favoritism , nepotism, red tapism at all levels which hampers country's growth. In a dictatorial regime these aspects are checked by a dictator.

f. Modern democracies are capitalist democracies where few accumulate wealth, and rest are deprived of fair share. It is the capitalist class which influences decision making. In a dictatorship, it is the dictator who decides policy for the entire country which involves more state controlled policies than capitalist controlled.

In my eyes, it has abundant value to add to your life. You gain peace and pleasure by walking on a path consciously chosen by you. It is truth of life. This is what we learn from the life and times of Mahatma Gandhi. For those who do not know, Mahatma Gandhi can be described in just one word – Truth. He stood for truth and walked its path till his death in 1948. He spoke the truth, experimented with truth, discovered truth, preached truth and lived truth. That is the essence of selecting and sticking to one’s chosen path and a chance to prove your worth in lifetime.

Your path may not be easy and rosy but let defeats turn into stepping stone to success.

The government thus contributes towards the economic development of the nation:
By development of infrastructure, i.e.,

1. Construction of roads, national highways, flyovers, metro-rails, railway lines, irrigation through dams, etc.
2. The government provides an impetus to industrial growth by supplying electricity at affordable rates.
3. By running schools and providing good quality of education, the government is trying to remove illiteracy and taking the nation forward.
