    sum of the zeroes = (a-b) + (a+b) + a = 3a i.e. 3a = - b/a

                                                                           or  3a=3

                                                                           or  a=1

    product of the zeroes = (a-b)*(a+b)*a= a3-ab2  i.e. 1 - b2 = c/a      (by putting the value a=1)

                                                                                         or b2 =2

    3. हमारैं हरि हारिल की लकरी। मन क्रम बचन नंद-नंदन उर, यह दृढ़ करि पकरी। जागत सोवत स्वप्न दिवस-निसि, कान्ह-कान्ह जक री। सुनत जोग लागत है ऐसौ, ज्यौं करुई ककरी। सु तौ ब्याधि हमकौ लै आए, देखी सुनी न करी। यह तौ ‘सूर’ तिनहिं लै सौंपौ, जिनके मन चकरी। --> गोपियाँ कहती हैं कि उनके लिए कृष्ण तो हारिल चिड़िया की लकड़ी के समान हो गये हैं। जैसे हारिल चिड़िया किसी लकड़ी को सदैव पकड़े ही रहता है उसी तरह उन्होंने नंद के नंदन को अपने हृदय से लगाकर पकड़ा हुआ है। वे जागते और सोते हुए, सपने में भी दिन-रात केवल कान्हा कान्हा करती रहती हैं। जब भी वे कोई अन्य बात सुनती हैं तो वह बात उन्हें किसी कड़वी ककड़ी की तरह लगती है। कृष्ण तो उनकी सुध लेने कभी नहीं आए बल्कि उन्हें प्रेम का रोग लगा के चले गये। वे कहती हैं कि उद्धव अपने उपदेश उन्हें दें जिनका मन कभी स्थिर नहीं रहता है। गोपियों का मन तो कृष्ण के प्रेम में हमेशा से अचल है।

    1. ऊधौ, तुम हौ अति बड़भागी। अपरस रहत सनेह तगा तैं, नाहिन मन अनुरागी। पुरइनि पात रहत जल भीतर, ता रस देह न दागी। ज्यौं जल माहँ तेल की गागरि, बूँद न ताकौं लागी। प्रीति नदी मैं पाउँ न बोरयौ, दृष्टि न रूप परागी। ‘सूरदास’ अबला हम भोरी, गुर चाँटी ज्यौं पागी। --> इन छंदों में गोपियाँ ऊधव से अपनी व्यथा कह रही हैं। वे ऊधव पर कटाक्ष कर रही हैं, क्योंकि उन्हें लगता है कि ऊधव तो कृष्ण के निकट रहते हुए भी उनके प्रेम में नहीं बँधे हैं। गोपियाँ कहती हैं कि ऊधव बड़े ही भाग्यशाली हैं क्योंकि उन्हें कृष्ण से जरा भी मोह नहीं है। ऊधव के मन में किसी भी प्रकार का बंधन या अनुराग नहीं है बल्कि वे तो कृष्ण के प्रेम रस से जैसे अछूते हैं। वे उस कमल के पत्ते की तरह हैं जो जल के भीतर रहकर भी गीला नहीं होता है। जैसे तेल से चुपड़े हुए गागर पर पानी की एक भी बूँद नहीं ठहरती है, ऊधव पर कृष्ण के प्रेम का कोई असर नहीं हुआ है। ऊधव तो प्रेम की नदी के पास होकर भी उसमें डुबकी नहीं लगाते हैं और उनका मन पराग को देखकर भी मोहित नहीं होता है। गोपियाँ कहती हैं कि वे तो अबला और भोली हैं। वे तो कृष्ण के प्रेम में इस तरह से लिपट गईं हैं जैसे गुड़ में चींटियाँ लिपट जाती हैं।

    (i) Horizontal Division of powers is such a power sharing arrangement in which power is shared , among different organs of government as, legislature, executive and judiciary.

    (ii) In horizontal division of powers, different organs of government exercise different powers, i.e., there is a concept of separation of powers.

    (iii) Horizontal distribution specifies the concept of checks and balances in order to check the exercises of unlimited powers of the organs.

    (iv) Horizontal distribution of power ensures the concept of the expansion of democracy.

    VERTACAL DIVISION OF POWER

    (i) In Vertical Division of powers, power can be shared among governments at different levels like union, state and local levels of such government, i.e., it involves higher and lower levels of government.

    (ii) Whereas, in vertical division of powers, constitution clearly lays down the powers of different levels of government.

    (iii) But, there is no such concept of checks and balances in the vertical Division because powers are clearly given by the constitution from the higher level to the lower level.

    (iv) Vertical division of powers promotes the concept of deepening of democracy.

    Metals which lie above Hydrogen in the activity series ie. Zn, Al, Mg can displace hydrogen from dilute acids, because they are more reactive than H2. Metals which lie below hydrogen in the activity series i.e. Cu, Ag, Au cannot displace hydrogen from dilute acids, because they are less reactive than hydrogen.
