यूरोप में राष्ट्रवाद का उदय: उन्नीसवीं सदी के मध्य तक यूरोपीय देशों का रूप वैसा नहीं था जैसा कि आज है। विभिन्न क्षेत्रों पर अलग-अलग वंश के लोग राज करते थे। इन इलाकों में राजतंत्र का शासन हुआ करता था। उस काल में कई ऐसे तकनीकी परिवर्तन हुए जिनके कारण समाज में अभूतपूर्व बदलाव आये। समाज में आये इन परिवर्तनों ने लोगों में राष्ट्रवाद की भावना को जन्म दिया।
नये राष्ट्रों के निर्माण की प्रक्रिया 1789 में शुरु होने वाली फ्रांस की क्रांति के साथ शुरु हो गई थी। लेकिन किसी भी नई विचारधारा की तरह राष्ट्रवाद को भी अपनी जड़ जमाने में लगभ एक सदी लग गया। इस लंबी प्रक्रिया के अंतिम चरण में फ्रांस का एक प्रजातांत्रिक देश के रूप में गठन हुआ। उसके बाद यह सिलसिला यूरोप के कई अन्य देशों में भी चलने लगा। बीसवीं सदी की शुरुआत आते आते विश्व के कई हिस्सों में आधुनिक प्रजातंत्र की स्थापना हुई।

Insects are very important as primary or secondary decomposers. Without insects to help break down and dispose of wastes, dead animals and plants would accumulate in our environment and it would be messy indeed.

Any legal Change becomes counter productive law when it results adversly. For example, many states have banned people who have more than two children from contesting panchayat elections. This had resulted in demat of political opportunity to many poor and women, which was not intended.
Generally, laws that seek to ban something are not successful in politics. This law tends to hinder the attainment of a desired goal and results adversely.
