The salt is BAKING SODA or SODIUM BICARBONATE (NaHCO3). It is prepared by passing carbon dioxide through ammoniacal brine. "NaCl+H2O+NH3+CO2->NaHCO3+NH4Cl". Baking soda is insoluble in water but the ammonium byproduct is soluble. So, the crystals can be obtained by FILTRATION. Baking Soda is also used in SODA ACID FIRE EXTINGUISHERS and in ANTACID TABLETS.

Draw the fig.. Join both ends of the design...... Two triangles will form......now, take any quadrant and find its area.Then subtract the area of triangle inside the respective quadrant fro the area of quadrant.. You will find the area of one part of design... Since other quadrant is similar to first one..so double the area of one part of design....you will get the area of whole design........ A pipeline transportation is the new arrival of transportation in the map of transportation. in the past is was used for the transportation of water but nowadays it is used to transport mineral oil, natural gas, petroleum products etc and solid when converted into slurry. Merits:i)subsequent cost of laying pipe lines is minimal. ii) t Tran-shipment losses is minimal. Demerits: i) Initial cost of laying pipeline is high. ii) In case if there is leakage or break in pipes it would lead to the loss of valuable resources like mineral oil,water.
