Light from the Sun near the horizon passes through a thicker layer of air and a larger distance in the Earth’s atmosphere before reaching our eyes.
However, light from the Sun overhead has to travel a lesser distance. At noon, the Sun appears whitish or yellowish as only little blue and violet light are scattered. However, near the horizon, most of the blue light and shorter wavelengths are scattered. Thus, the Sun appears reddish in colour during sunrise or sunset.

The three R's used to save the environment are Reduce, Recycle and Reuse.
Reduce: This means that we should use the resources judiciously and check their misuse. We use less of the natural resources by cutting down on those practices which lead to their wastage. We should save electricity by switching off unnecessary lights and fans. We should save water by repairing leak taps. We can reduce the use of LPG by making use of solar cooker for cooking food.
Recycle: Recycle means that we should collect the used and discarded plastic, paper, glass and metal items and recycle this material to make required things instead of synthesizing fresh plastic, paper, glass or metal.
Reuse: This is even better than recycling because it save the energy which is spent at recycling a products no energy is required during reuse.We should use the same things again. For example envelopes can be used by reversing them

On applying euclid's division Lemma for 36 and 96
96 = 36 ×2 + 24
Here, Remainder = 24≠0
So take new Dividend as 36 and divisor as 24.
36 = 24×1 +12
Here, Remainder = 12≠0
So take new Dividend as 24 and divisor as 12.
24 = 12×2 +0
Here, the Remainder = 0 and the last divisor is 12.
So, HCF of 36 and 96 is 12.
On applying euclid's division Lemma for 12 and 120
120 = 12 ×10 + 0
Here Remainder = 0
So , HCF of 36, 96 and 120 is 12.

Given A.P:
-11,-8,-5,.….,49
first term (a) = -11,
{tex}Common\: difference (d)\\=a_{2}-a_{1}\\=-8-(-11)\\=-8+11\\=3{/tex}
Now,
Rearranging the terms , from last to first ,we get
49,46,...,-5,-8,-11
first term (a) = 49,
d = 46-49 = -3
{tex}Fourth\:term (a_{4})=a+3d{/tex}
{tex}=49+3\times (-3)\\=49-9\\=40{/tex}
Therefore,
{tex}Fourth\:term\:the \:last \:of\\the \:A.P = 40{/tex}

- The Caste system in India is mainly based on the division of labour. It is a hierarchical system which divides the society into four main castes.
- The Brahmins or the priests occupy the top most position in the Indian caste system. They conduct prayers, yajnas and offer sacrifices.
- The second position in the society is occupied by the Kshatriyas who are the warriors. Their main responsibility is to protect the society and nation.
- The third position in the Indian society is occupied by the farmers, merchants and traders.
- The shudras or the untouchables occupy the fourth and the lowest position in the caste system. They do all the menial work such as cleaning toilets, sewers etc. This section fo the society has been exploited since the ancient times. They were deprived of education and a good quality life.
