(b-c)x²+(c-a)x+(a-b)=0
Comparing with quadratic equation
Ax²+Bx+C=0
A=(b-c),
B=c-a,
C=a-b
Discriminate when roots are equal
D=B²-4AC=0
D=(c-a)²−4(b-c)(a-b)=0
D=(c²+a²−2ac)-4(ba-ac-b²+bc)=0
D=c²+a²−2ac-4ab+4ac+4b²-4bc=0
c²+a²+2ac-4b(a+c)+4b²=0
(a+c)²-4b(a+c)+4b²=0
[(a+c)-2b]²=0
a+c=2b

HERE HEIGHT IS 12M
BASE IS 5M
HYPOTNUSE IS LENGTH OF LADDER
BY PYTHAGOROUS THEORUM
HYPOTNUSE^2 = BASE^2 + HEIGHT^2
HYPOTNUSE^2 = 5^2 + 12^2
HYP^2 = 25+144
HYP^2 = 169
HYP = UNDER ROOT OF 169
HYPOTNUSE = 13 M
THEREFORE LENGTH OF LADDER IS 13 M

Rowlatt Act of 1919 is known as the black act or law as it severely curtailed civil liberties. The law made it possible for the British government to jail anyone suspected of plotting or overthrowing the government in jail even without a trial and to try them without any jury. The act also allowed the British government to arrest Indian political leaders without any trial or warrant. The Rowlatt Act of 1919 was enforced on the Imperial legislative council despite opposition by Indian leaders.

This was because the urban trade groups and guilds were very powerful.This was a group of producers who regulated prices,labour,trained craftspeople and also regulated competition.They prevented coming of new people into trade.Also the rulers gave some trade groups monopoly rights to trade in specific products.Thus it was difficult for merchants to set up business in towns so they turned to villages.

Question : Factorise 2x^2 - x + 1/8 =0 using splitting the middle term.
Answer :
Given Quadratic equation:
2x²-x+1/8 = 0
Multiply each term by 8 we get
=> 16x² - 8x + 1 = 0
Splitting the middle term,we get
=> 16x² - 4x - 4x + 1 = 0
=> 4x(4x-1)-1(4x-1)=0
=> (4x-1)(4x-1)=0
=> 4x-1=0 or 4x-1 = 0
=> 4x = 1 or 4x = 1
=> x = 1/4 or x = 1/4
Therefore,
Roots of the quadratic equation are 1/4 , 1/4

In 1815, the representatives of the European powers - Britain, Russia,Prussia and Austria wanted to establish long-lasting peace and stability after they defeated Napolean.
Thus, they drew up the Treaty of Vienna of 1815 with the intenstion of undoing most of the changes brought about during the Napoleonic wars and creating a new conservative order in Europe.
- The Bourbon dynasty was brought back to power and France lost the territories it had annexed under Napoleon.
- To prevent the French evasion, a series of states werre set up on the boundaries of France.
- This lead to the setting up of kingdom of the Netherlands (inclusive of Belgium) in the north and the kingdom of Genoa (added to Piedmont) in the south.
- Prussia was given important new territories on its western frontiers, while Austria was given control of northern Italy.
- However, Napolean's German confederation of 39 states was left untouched.
- In the east, Russia was given part of Poland while Prussia was given a portion of Saxony.
